Mi Chavelas Market is a local Mexican market that offers a variety of traditional and freshly-made products. Customers praise the market's delicious pan dulce (sweet bread) and bolillos (Mexican rolls), which are described as heavenly and the best in town. The market also specializes in masa (corn dough) for tamales, which is made fresh in-store and can be observed being ground from corn. While the chicharrón (pork crackling) received some criticism for being burnt and dry, the overall feedback on the market's food quality is positive. Shoppers appreciate the old-school vibe of the market and the friendly, attentive staff. Despite occasional concerns about customer service, the market is known for its reasonable prices compared to other Mexican stores, making it a popular destination for pollo (chicken), carne asada (grilled steak), and homemade salsas.
The only thing this place is good for is the torta bread I spent 16$ on menudo and it was 0.1 out of 10 wasn’t Cooked right and all around wasn’t satisfying i like to support small businesses but Damm this market has me thinking twice

Best pan dulce in MoVal. The bolillo is espectacular but the cutting makes for a bolillo that is too deformed. I wish the bolillo was more symmetrical. Also. When it's baked too long it looses moisture.
