I wanted to come and update my review since my second time delivering was not as smooth as the first. I did delivery at home prior to making it to the hospital so I did not get to experience the L&D as I did the first time. It's everything that has transpired since that I feel is a huge room for improvement for the PP nurses, the birth certificate clerk, and the OB/GYN department at this location. My delivery was not the norm. I get that. I learned later on that the entire process of getting a birth certificate and social security card is solely in my hands since my daughter was born at home. #1 I was told by the Postpartum nurses several times to scan the QRC to fill out the info for the birth certificate which is not the process at all if the delivery did not occur in the hospital. The nurses should know this. #2 the following day after completing the QRC info, the birth certificate clerk handed me a pink paper simply saying I needed to go to the site indicated since my daughter was born at home then left the room. This would've been a great opportunity for her to actually explain the process and state to me that since my daughter was born at home, there is a process through the County of Riverside to register my infant, request a birth certificate, and then subsequently get a social security card. Simply handing a paper with no explanation/education on the matter was absolute trash! #3 after contacting the County to start the process, I learned there is about 8 things I'll need to submit as proof of pregnancy, prenatal care, then subsequent delivery which includes a letter from my ob/gyn with a wet signature. The 1st time I requested this, the nurse who responded to my message told me to go through the "release of information" department which after calling them was incorrect. I sent another message pleading for someone who understood this process and time sensitive nature to please get in touch with my ob/gyn so I can get the letter. I even screenshot and attached my email from the County of Riverside as proof of why I was asking for this. The letter has been ready without a wet signature since 2/16, 6 days after giving birth. I called and emailed several times to follow up to learn on 3/1 that even though my ob/gyn was in office on 2/29, she refused to sign the letter without speaking with me first but her first availability to speak with me via telephone wasn't until 3/11, a whole month AFTER the birth of my daughter. If there is a 31 day timeframe to get my infant added to my insurance to not incur a bill and most jobs ask for some sort of birth certificate or social to add said infant, why is there no urgency with this process? Why am I having to explain this process to staff who should have some sort of idea? The stress of adjusting to a newborn who came 30 days early and then dealing with this whole process has been extremely stressful. I will not even get into the phototherapy dme that was ordered for my infant that I had to pay out of pocket because my authorization was entered incorrectly! Please use this as an opportunity to educate! No new mother should have to deal with this added unnecessary stress, delay, and incompetence!

If I could give it a zero, I would, first time being here. Kids come first in my book, I am here now and kids are crying, vomiting, and yelling... my guess is, the nurses here don't understand that a kid can only take so much. I am sitting here upset , and screaming in silence at the top of my lungs. Sad to see that they spent so much money to build this nice looking place, but the staff doesn't prioritize, KIDS COME FIRST!! and no, I am not here with my kid, I am here with my wife.

I was told by a staff member not to ever come here when the Emergency is extremely important and or your life depends on it as the hospital is not well staffed and prepared for high risk emergencies. The person was being very honest with me and I appreciated his candor. Why would someone who works there tell me this information? Because I was being honest to them and they were being honest with me. After carefully looking around myself, I understood what they meant. They said go to Riverside or San Diego if you can and not to go there. That made me just go wow!!

Yes I only gave this location one star! We have a 10 am appt and checked in 15 mins early as requested! At 10:25 a nurse came out to the waiting room and called our name only to let us know there was a 45 min to 1 hr wait! After sitting and waiting for a 1/2 hr they let us know! Terrible customer service! My wife comes every 3 months and never had a problem as a wait as long as this one! Ok now it's been one hr let's see how long it's really going to be! Finely after 1 hr and 20 mins of waiting we were taken in to a room.

This is probably the worst kaiser hospital to go to. How do you have a 24 hr hospital with emergency services and not have a lab inside the hospital for people to get a routine lab work done? Their lab is in the medical office and if it's a holiday, it's not open.

The male security guard who has been at the emergency entrance for the last hour (11 am to noon on 12.1.22) I've been here is so attentive. His demeanor is calm and he's very knowledgeable. He knows what he's doing and very proactive in helping every patient. I'm very impressed with his work ethic. We need more like him

I recently got a hysterectomy done here. I don't think I could have had a better team of people supporting me. Dr. Bharadwa has supported me through every part of this process and was amazing to have as my surgeon. The nursing staff was very kind and attentive to ensure I was comfortable. My Anesthesiologist was great about making sure I understood everything that was going to happen. All this really helped keep my stress levels low. And of course the surgery scheduling staff that worked with my schedule to get everything handled. Thank you all.

Horrible horrible experience giving birth here. Sent baby home with an injury and sent me home with no pain meds. I called and called asking for some relief and they told me I basically did not need any since I had a regular birth. 3rd degree tears told to take OTC Tylenol. Kaiser isn't good when it comes to complex cases. That much is clear now and I regret getting this insurance.

Very disappointing visit. I was here with my wife on 9/11/20 and was told that I am not able to attend our FIRST obgyn visit to see our child due to CDC guidelines. This was not mentioned to my wife when she booked the appointment and is a very inexcusable way to treat members(I am also a Kaiser member). The appointment was an hour from our home which makes the matter even more frustrating. In the future, ALLOW your members as well as their families the right to enter your hospital, especially to see & hear their child's heartbeat for the first time. What makes this matter even worse is I witnessed a father walk in to Kaiser with his wife and child for their first visit. Apparently, the rules are different for first baby appointments vs. first obgyn appointments.

The staff here are great with kids , the doctors are great as well answer any questions we may have , all always have a smile and are amazing and patient with my daughter since she loves to talk a lot and ask so many questions lol but I was skeptical about being with them cause a lot of people were saying that it wasn't a good spot but I'm sure it was little reasonings but I've had no issues with them yet and I'm glad I joined Kaiser

I was in the emergency department today due to pneumonia. Kim K. was my nurse, she was amazing. She was very compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. Based on my Vital signs I met criteria for sepsis screening. Kim took the time to advocate for me and asked the doctor to add blood cultures that weren't in the orders. She medicated me, started IV fluids in a timely manner. This all saved me a lengthy stay. The X-ray and CT tech were very pleasant and compassionate as well. I have out of area insurance and now I wish I had kaiser

I was at Kaiser Moreno Valley Iris Medical Office 2, two weeks ago driving my father to get his colonoscopy. He had an afternoon appointment and had not eaten for two days. We were waiting in the pre procedure area for some time for his turn. We were across from the nurses station where a nurse, her name was Dana, sat at her desk eating from a bag of chips and a drinking from a cup and straw. She kept talking very loudly and acting as though it was a party. Laughing and talking very loudly while seeming to ignore the patients. She also appeared to be discussing other nursing staff in a negative way. I wanted to say something but my dad was to tired of waiting and hungry to speak up. I am appaulled that Kaiser would allow this kind of behavior from the nursing staff. I will never bring my father back to this building! I am posting this on both Moreno Valley Yelp hoping that someone will address this rude and unprofessional nurse.

After a rocky 8 months with patient care; staffing changes and procedures are improving. Keeping my fingers crossed that they reach the level of care Los Angeles county customers experience. All my detailed reviews for this location have been stripped from Yelp but good thing I copied them to Google, so visit there for the history
