Great customer service for a growing city. It's not the utilities fault for perceive high rates. MVU does not generate their own electricity. They are merely resellers of electricity that they purchase from other utilities. So, it's not really fair to trash them over pricing.

Power went out for hours with no communication. Charge me over $800 last month you would think they could pay someone to at least give updates. Very dissatisfied.

Being on the customer service side of a utility company, I'm sure, can be a tough job at times. But these ladies have gone out of their way to be helpful and attentive on several of our projects now. It's been wonderful having Tanya and Ruby there to help us through the process. Thank you!!

I'm surprised so many negative reviews. I've never been in the office, but I call mostly. The customer service representatives are always very friendly, personable and knowledgeable about their services. They listen and respond appropriately. We even get a good laugh or cry depending on what's happening in my life. The costs is high. I'll never understand that but it's not their fault. Be kind people. We can't always get our way and none of us want to hear the word NO, right.

I would have never moved here if I knew my monthly payment would be this high! It’s ridiculous. I’m paying almost $300 a month for a 2 bedroom apartment. ??♀️ This company is a scam!

Do not buy a home in Moreno valley until u the understand electric company.... I wouldn't have bought my home in this city if I would have known they could Rip you off like this.... DONT BUY A HOME HERE.... 6 months later they are making me downgrade my solar system before approving all my permits love my house but im going to sell...

I'm surprised to see all the negative reviews. We had good experience with them so far. Every time I called for issues the wait was not long, customer service was friendly, and we received clear instructions.

Worse customer service ever, this Company don't respect payment arrangements and still put a 24 hr notice at my door to get extra $25 dollars fee. If you are late with your payment a week, they'll shutdown your power, even if the temperature was 100+ degrees and you had small kids at home, or you had somebody on oxygen and needed the power 24/7 they simply DON'T CARE!!!!! I'm stuck with these people, I wish I could go back with Southern California Edison. Why do I HAVE TO be with a Company that doesn't work with people's needs? Somebody do something to stop them or make them better pleaseeee!!!

We have been waiting on Moreno Valley Utilities to give approval on our request for solar paneling since February. We found out that they charge us an extra percentage on our electricity that they buy from Edison and it can go up as much as 10% we are at 5% now… I have my 90 year old father in law living with us with a number of health conditions, he has to have someone come in and take care of him. We just want to lower our electric bill especially in the summer when our bill can reach $600+ . They have done nothing but give our solar company and us the runaround as to why they haven’t approved the plans… my family and I have lived in Moreno Valley for almost 30 years and we’ve never had this problem with Edison just Moreno Valley Utilities, I wish we had a choice on electricity providers..
