My shopping experience at this El Super location will be the last time. The cashier "River V." who knows how to speak English, I tried to confirm with him whether Juan is the store manager. As soon as I said that he was very standoffish and tried to ignore my questions. I want to confirm whether Juan speaks English because I want to bring to Juan's attention about my prior shopping experience at that location. I explained to "River V" why I asked this because what happened during my last visit, no matter which store employee (besides the one I had a problem with) claimed that they can't speak English and can't get a hold of the store manager. Instead of contacting Juan (since I was there), "River V" continued to give me that standoffish attitude and told me, "Don't be surprise that no one speaks English."So what happened during the previous visit: A female cashier who spoke English was using the toilet and continued conversing in Spanish with another worker. I don't know what was said, but patiently waited because I also needed to use the toilet. When she finally came out there was poop on the seat and in the toilet. I came back out and told her there is no toilet paper. She glared at me. My mistake because I meant to say there is no toilet seat cover. She told me yes there is. I went to check the toilet stall again and came back out and told her again "there is no toilet seat cover." She continued to glared at me and said, "You said that there is no toilet paper." "I told her I made a mistake. I apologize. But I can't use the toilet because you left poop in the toilet and the seat, so get some toilet seat. I'll wait for you do get it done to use it." I won't out of restroom because the smell was overbearing. Well, 20 minutes later, there was no toilet seat cover and the other stall is available, but just as nasty. I don't know if it's intentional, but I need to use the toilet so I had to clean the toilet before I could even use it. After I came back out from the restroom and trying to get someone to help me to get a hold of the store, everyone responded to me in Spanish. I told them I don't understand and asked "Can I get someone who knows how to speak English." Everyone replied whether shaking their head or body language that they don't understand what I'm saying. After trying to get help from different people for over 15mins with the same results, I finally decided that I won't shop there. We decided to just leave the cart full of stuff and walked out the store.In summary, this location had been the preferred place to shop even though sometimes the food: meat, fruits and vegetable were rotting or of poor quality, but the price was decent. But after all the experiences I had at this location, and I only gave a couple of them, I hope the store manage, Juan Mendoza, reads this review and spend time teaching his staff a thing or two about customer service. For now, I'll just try another El Super location.

The cashier Bertha Villa has some personal problems, but she needs to be professional when it comes to work related. Really bad customer service. I went to the store for groceries and at checkout after she scanned an item I asked her to have it remove nicely and she got really upset made a face gesture at me after spent $100 on the whole grocery shopping ) She needs some customer service training ASAP.

I went with a pay roll check today, willing to pay the 2.5% because it was a check for over $1,500.00 dollars, actually it was for $1827.64. they made me sign it and write my phone number in the back of the check. Later they said we need your company phone number to confirm a ('payroll check"), I told them my company is closed Saturday and Sunday and nobody will answer it. The girl said, oh no is just a formality write the phone number on the back of the check. So I did, for them. Then she says it will be another 5 minutes. So to 5 minutes wait turned in to two 30!min wait, almost an hour. It's naive from those girls to still try to call a company that you already warned them they are closed. To me, that tells me that RIA uses a poor communication system amongst the bank system here in the USA. RIA employees should just find another job if RIA does not live up to a good check cashing system. I heard that they do good with money transfer to other countries. On another note, the big fat girl with the másk on, is rude, she shuts you off by turning the audio listening speaker off and gets off the chair and walks off. End of story,they made me ruin my payroll paycheck, because nobody else will cash it, because of their dumb advise. Today is Saturday 5 August 2023.

Excellent deals on their specials, all other items are very expensive, as bad as Cardenas, just purchase the great deals, other items go somewhere else to finish my shopping.

Their service is TERRIBLE. Any time I've called to ask about something I get told "I'm too busy to be answering calls or to help you." Management needs to do a better job of hiring enough people, or people who are willing to help. They are always extremely unapologetic about their behavior. & always make you feel like you're asking them for a FAVOR to do their job. Tenemos que hacer mucho mejor raza. Así no se trata a la gente.
