My poor little Diogi had too much Christmas fun and ended up with a horrible tummy virus that had us all worried sick! Today, day3 after 1 bogus emergency visit to a pet hospital I will be reviewing poorly later and a squeezed-in appt to Sunnymead Veterinary Clinic, x-rays, blood work and hospitalization with IV meds, I am SO happy to report my little guy is back to his lovable, energetic self again!! Our regular Vet was closed for the holidays and didn't have any availability! Sunnymead Veterinary Clinic truly cared for my little guy walking me through each step and educating me on things to watch for. Their main concern was him and not gouging my pockets! They were so gentle and loving with Diogi that he was excited to see them this morning for his follow up appt. If you are looking for a good, loving vet to care for your furbaby as you would, I highly recommend this facility.

I have been bringing my Frenchie here since he was a puppy (now 4 years old) and the staff and vets have always been so friendly and informative! I always feel safe brining my pup here because I know he is in good hands!

Noticed they have two pages for reviews wouldn’t want to forget one, so here’s what happened on Friday:Horrible service for a few years now and today was the final straw. Have been trying to get a prescription for my dog, who has Cushing disease, for a week now because we needed to change pharmacies. We called and asked the vets office about it last Friday and told them after finding the different pharmacy what we needed. FINALLY after a week it was ready today and I go in and the last name is wrong! I had a name change three years ago and have been repeatedly asking them to change the pets and my last name in the system and they never would. Also, they did have my recent last name spelled wrong because it was missing a letter so even then I wouldn’t have been able to use it. I asked them if they could change it today because the new pharmacy needs the last name to match. They said "No, the doctor is in surgery and will be leaving right when she's done." I said I understand that but I just need her to change the name to the correct one. The male receptionist then tells me "well you should have thought about that before then." His huge attitude and him not knowing what he was talking about I snapped. After cussing him out for how he spoke to me, I took my dog and left. I feel bad for the girl who was helping me and apologized to her while she repeatedly apologized for this man’s attitude. The service and wait time has been ridiculous here the last few years and they definitely need to update certain staff members who seem to hate their job. I will be finding a new veterinarian office. Hopefully they’ll be more respectful and won’t blame their clients for their incompetence. I like how they won’t accept responsibility for how their horrible receptionist was acting. Is that better “owner”? Have a great day! :-)

We love the staff here! We began one of our pet journeys here 19 years ago and finished it for here in June of this year. The people were so incredibly kind as she & I had to say goodbye.I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a fabulous facility for their fur children!

I've taken my pets to several vet clinics throughout Moreno Valley, even Perris, but this location is the best. Checking in is seamless, the staff are friendly and helpful, the clinic is clean, and they're reasonably priced. I appreciate that they show you the cost breakdown before moving forward for your review/approval. Highly recommended!

This place used to be the best until Heather Ontiveros took over... **I Recently brought my 9 y/o Shepard in for severe arthritis, who was now badly screaming in pain every time he got up. Initially I tried to make a same day appt at 3pm, but I advised the front office (SAM) that my dog may need something for anxiety before he is examined because he hates his back legs being touched, especially when he is in pain. Sam advised me to take an appointment later in the week that was first thing in the morning, so if they needed to give him something to help him relax prior too examination, they could do it AT THAT TIME. ok, Cool! - two days later, i bring in my limping dog. Heather, (won't even call her Dr.) literally standing against the wall, TERRIFIED to be in the presence of my 87lb black shepard. She has obviously read in prior notes that my dog can be 'aggressive' if you are trying to touch his rear end like taking temperature or trying to examine his hips. AND Just like with any animal, they can sense if you are scared, timid, or calm when around them. My dog HAS NEVER BITTEN ANYONE and he is our family dog! Prior to "exam" I told them that I should put on a basket muzzle that I brought for him, but the vet tech suggested their muzzle that was 3x too small for my dog. they asked me to first attempt, and my dog was not having it (of course!) and then the vet attempted to put on a muzzle and was straddling my dogs back hips/legs with her legs! Being that I just told her, my dog is in pain IN THAT AREA and doesn't like his rear end touched, you would think she would come at this with a better tactic. Naturally, my dog got upset when she did this and growled at her, showing her his teeth. which in that moment, I didn't expect anything less from him. Heather immediately backed off and told me that we would need to bring him in for a different appointment time when they can put him 'under' in order to examine him. I asked her to please give me a second with him to attempt to put the muzzle on myself, as it was not easy getting him there and we live 30 minutes away, but at this point he was just way too overstimulated and just wanted to leave. Tech asked me to make another appointment and come back. I asked to speak with the vet one more time due to my frustration with bringing my pet 30 minutes away from home, and the reason I brought him at this time and date was per the receptionist SAM's advice, and my pre-warning to them! The vet tech asked me to wait in the waiting room until Heather was done with her other patient. i happily obliged, and went and sat in the waiting room with my dog. 20 minutes later, Heather came out and very unprofessional. She decided to have a conversation with me in the waiting room in front of everybody. and unfortunately Heather you were put in your place. Heather started to inform me that in order for her to examine my dog she would have to put him under anesthesia, monitor him, and place a catheter. I asked her why she would need anesthetize my dog in order to do an exam on him, in the past other veterinarians have given him medication's to simply calm him down and help him relax prior to examination, not fully putting him out!! heather, then told me about how many dogs can die under on monitored anesthesia. again WHY anesthesia for JUST an exam! A doggy Xanax, if you will. Also, Dr. Lauro was able to handle him last time. At this point i told her she's blowing smoke, and that I work in critical care, you aren't fooling anyone, and that she is just afraid of my dog, period. Heather then told me that my dog was biting me and was going to bite her, and that he is aggressive. I asked her-- do you see any bite marks , blood or scratches on my hands or arms? Mind you, during this time my big scary dog is laying in between my legs on the ground with no muzzle, and there's three other small dogs sitting next to him, and he leans up and starts licking me on the chin. YEAH, so aggressive lol. then once heather realized she messed with

My dog has been a patient at this clinic for 9 years now. I brought her in Tuesday and the doctor prescribed her antibiotics. I was able to give her the liquid for the first two days and now she refuses it. So, I called to ask for a different form. Either a shot or tabs. They told me, " it'll be next week before the Dr gets this message. Keep trying. "

This is to show everyone that I picked up my cat from being hospitalized for days and he was returned to me with urine and feces, hours later my cat died. I spoke to the manager named Sam who was unsympathetic and had the audacity to block my phone calls after calling with concerns. I wanted to reach a higher up so it looks like I have to drive up there since my phone number has been blocked. Do not trust the staff at this location because they will NOT take care of your pets needs.
