“I absolutely love this non profit. When I moved to Moreno Valley I started following Building Up Lives Foundation. I loved all the outreach the organization was doing. I knew one day I would volunteer for this organization. I reached out to volunteer recently. There is so much work that goes on behind the scenes to make this non profit able to feed the community weekly. Until recently they were feeding the community and unhoused daily. At the end of our food pantry give away many people didn't even say thank you. My heart feels good each time I volunteer. I am saddened that the community who is not in need does not support the organization. Well, not everyone, there is little support. It takes money to do what they do. Everyone who runs this nonprofit is a volunteer. No one gets paid. Julie Ann is amazing to volunteer with. She has a huge heart. As long as my health alows me to volunteer with this organization I will be there. I have also volunteered at the Shop 4 A Cause store. The store is so eclectic. 90% of the items are new. There are many collector items, and inexpensive clothes. It is a step up from thrift store. Many times you will find disabled adults and teens learning how to work in a store. This store was developed to support those with disabilities. Being a retired teacher, this was the icing on the cake. Building Up Lives Foundation thank you for what you do.”
