I was Driving from SF to LA when my brakes on my truck started to go out. AAMCO was able to take me In, get a diagnosis and repair done within a couple hours to have me back on the road.
This shop takes care of their customers and I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. I’m so happy I didn’t have to get a motel and wait overnight, they really are lifesavers!

What more can I say besides WOW! Rommel the owner is a very understanding and caring person. I was out of state and had to drop my vehicle at his shop after my transmission failed. He and his team diagnosed the issues and with a lot of thought and how far away I was. I decided to transport the vehicle home. Rommel and his team were willing to do just about anything to earn my business! I would recommend his shop to anyone looking for an honest and fair priced shop!

I have a newer Ford F150 with 10 speed transmission. I had a humming/vibration sound, no one knew where it was coming from. The dealer felt it was the drive line assembly, they replaced it to no avail. Then I started calling around looking for someone to diagnose/fix the problem. I called and spoke to Romel several times on the phone before taking it to him. I felt more comfortable with what and how he responded to my questions. Upon my unannounced arrival, I walked into the front office where I met Miguel and Romel. I explained the problem, and in that instance, Miguel offered to drop what he was doing and go on a test drive, which we did. They were going to rack the truck, run it at speed and stethoscope listen and determine where the humming/vibration was coming from.The next day I got a call explaining it was the transmission, and had metal filing in the fluid, that’s what generated the vibration, and needed to be replaced. They kept the truck on the rack transmission cover off and invited me to come and see the damage to the transmission, which I did.I dropped off the truck off on Friday, and Wednesday I got a call that the job was complete. Picked it up, runs great, great warranty, great knowledgeable mechanics. And most of all would highly recommend them to all. They have all my future business.PS, this is the first ever yelp I’ve ever engaged in writing. That’s how strongly I feel about their, professionalism, knowledge, experience, expeditious nature, and just great people.

We just had our transmission replaced with the folks at AAMCO. They were super helpful and really friendly. They had our car finished a week before it was quoted to be done (around the holidays). I was just there today after the engine light turned on. They had me come in right away, checked it out and I was on my way! Great customer service, I highly recommend!

I hate to leave bad reviews but I'm stuck with these purple for the next 100k mi.. they don't do alignments, so expect to take your vehicle to another shop if they drop your transmission.. plus they break things and expect uou to pay for them and broke my hood latch and no I didn't call them to fix it I just took it to another shop to get it fixed cause I didn't want to deal with them anymore

Yes! Steve walked over to look at my car problem & told me to tow my car to them. I did and he has been great at letting me know what the problems are & how to fix them. Right now, I don't know what the financial hit will be, but I believe AAMCO will be fair.
