I took my Subaru in for a smog check in January 2022. I was told that the car passed the test, but weeks went by and I did not get a sticker from DMV. I called again and was told that they would re-send the test results. This was in March, just before my registration ran out. In April I became frustrated & wrote to the Bureau of Automotive repair and copied Made in Japan. This time Darren called me and suggested that I come in for a re-test. I did so on April 22nd, the car passed again, and the sticker arrived May 8th. I tried to email Made in Japan and tell Darren his advice had worked out, but the website is taken down.

Brother took his car here. First time was charged a couple thousand to fix every random thing, EXCEPT the actual issue. Took the car back and was charged another couple thousand to “fix” the original issue. Dad took mom’s car in for a leak. Couple weeks later the leak persisted and he took it back and was charged again because it was a “new leak”. Couple weeks later the leak is still there. Go here if you want to have to go back five times to fix an issue. Even now, I know it’s a matter of time before the cars have the same issue. The problem is they have no accountability and charge thousands each time we take the cars back for their mistakes.

Car had problems starting. Took it to Darren and was told I needed to replace the alternator and battery. No problem at all, worked out a deal in cash and got it done. Couple weeks go by and car is not starting at all. Had to pay for a tow to another shop and found out that the battery they supplied me with and I paid for was a dud and does not retain charge despite charging it for a whole day.Can't call the cc company to dispute anything because this was paid for in cash but please be aware of this business and its shady practices.Service: Electrical repair

Daylight robbery, they overcharged me 3x on a component compared to actual dealership price. Stay away if you do not want to get conned.

"AVOID THE ESTABLISHMENT AT ALL COST!" New owners, (Sherwin Biscocho) and not the knowledgeable owners of a year ago! I was quoted three different quotes for a single oil change job: One at a $179.00, then $60.00 and the final cost of $32.27!!! The mechanic, (Paul in the garage), couldn't answer the simple question of : What weight oil did you use during the old change? "Twice" I paraphrased the question to him," What weight oil did you use?" His response was, he didn't understand the question. I don't know what they did to my car. I'll have to go home and jack my car up to check to see if they stripped the drain plug and to see if they filled the car properly! Do you want these people to work on your car? You would be many time over, better to have your car serviced at "WALMART! P.S. They also concluded I needed a set of spark plugs when I had only 7,000 miles on the ones that were good for 100,000 miles! Phoneys!

Great, Low-cost Auto Repair Service; You Could Need Them Someday. ?. I am very pleased with this place. — After they replaced my radiator & did so at a price that was 1/2 the amount that 3 other shops quoted me; they also changed the oil at a very reasonable price, too. I was so relieved, that It was all done, that I just had to get on here & make a big fuss about them.I first went to them when they were at their previous location about a year ago; that’s when I met Erica who was very cordial & was really wanting to help me get all my car’s needs taken care of, but not only that — she saw that I had a pretty big need at that time and didn’t even charge me for one of the services that I needed ... wow, I was sooo HAPPY & thankful!!I only recently met Darren (the owner) when it was time for my radiator to get replaced, he is about the friendliest & most honest car repair person who really shows a lot of concern for his customer’s needs. I like their new location better, too.Stop on by just to say hello & see how they’ll treat you; I am sure you will want to go back again. — Thanks so much you nice folks at Made In Japan.
