We had a really lovely time here! It's near Joshua Tree and Pioneer Town, but is quiet and secluded. It was great place for a 4-day getaway.

We loved staying at Aphrodite! What an amazing property 🤩 We ended up extending our stay another night because we just didn't want to leave. Thank you Diane and team!

It was a very pleasant surprise staying at the Hidden Passage Guest Ranch. It was very peaceful and even my mom, who is not a fan of traveling, was so relaxed and had so much fun that she did not want to leave. I also brought Walle, my dog, and he highly recommends this place to stay!

A great "off the beaten path" place! Great stargazing and complete peace, day and night. Fantastic retreat from our constantly connected modern world.

Great little getaway. Prefect for couples and groups looking for a weekend away from it all. Beautiful views and close to Joshua Tree and Palm Springs.

Highly recommend Hidden Passage Guest Ranch over any of the other accommodations in the desert. Perfect location in the center of everything, perfect weather (always a bit cooler than palm springs), large infinity pool and several spots onsite to lounge and soak in the beautiful views. Breathtaking view of San Jacinto Mountains across the valley. Awesome hiking trails, everything is dog friendly! They have the inside scoop of all the best local restaurants, things to do, etc. Great for a weekend of exploring Joshua Tree, relaxing in nature, or a peaceful work/stay trip. 5 STARS

I almost want to keeps this place a secret, it’s that good! The drive in is a bit rough, and long but we did it in a Camaro so obviously it’s doable. The pool is spectacular, the staff is friendly and attentive when needed but kind of disappear into the background when you don’t need them. You get a phone number to text if you need anything or have any questions and they are very prompt to answer or bring you what you need.We visited during rattlesnake season but didn’t see any, even on hikes around the area. This is such a wonderful place, we hated leaving and considered changing plane tickets and our car rental and staying another day just to hang out on the grounds and swim/shower under the stars. Staying longer ended up not working out because of my work schedule ☹️ but we will be back for sure! This is a kid free zone, FYI, this trip was a couples vacation but I would love to bring my 15-year-old but according to the rules thats not allowed. But pets are allowed!Out of this world location and night sky. Book it! You will be so pleased! We stayed in Air Cabin #4. ❤️❤️❤️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Had the most relaxing weekend in this amazing place. Amenities exceeded all of our expectations. Diane helped with anything we needed and Shawn was attentive and happy to assist and show us around. Can't wait to go back.

UPDATE: After posting initial review, as requested I contacted management, with pictures and have not received another response. These pictures are the dust under the bed, bugs in the bathtub, and the outdoor patio from my September 2020 stay.I stayed in September, 2020, in the Aphrodite Cottage and it was filthy dirty, so many bugs, checked out 2 days early because I couldn’t deal with the bugs and they didn’t respond to my request for a partial refund for leaving early. Wouldn’t recommend.

I can't recommend this place enough if you're down with nature and love some peace and quiet. It's a slice of desert heaven, really. The ranch is made up of several different cottages - from kitchen-equipped mini houses to tricked out trailers and fancy shmancy yurt-like tents. There's plenty of space between the cottages to experience a real getaway feel. Nestled in a canyon down a private dirt road, the ranch makes you feel like you've gotten far away from it all, but in reality it's the ideal location to explore both Joshua Tree NP and Palm Springs because it's about halfway between both. Hiking trails surround the ranch (map provided) and guided horseback riding is also available. Infinity pool, but sadly no hot tub. Communication with the onsite staff via text was immediate and courteous. The sunrises are beautiful in the canyon and the stargazing is phenomenal. I'm already planning a return visit.

We loved it very clean and we had a very pleasant and romantic stay. Our place (clio) a few steps from the pool. EVERYTHING was perfect in that place. ❤
