I went on a short trip with a friend to Joshua Tree and on our way back to the LA/OC area, we decided to stop here for brunch essentially. (We tried to go to Frontier Café but the line was super long and we were both on the verge of getting hungry lol.) This little spot is quaint but cute. It's a vegan spot, so don't expect to order a lumberjack breakfast - the seating is also outdoor only, which I could see being unpleasant during the height of summer but the weather was perfect when we were there. I ended up ordering an avocado toast which was great. No frills - literally just avocado, toast and a bit of salt on top. - but the toast was tasty and the avocado was piled on generously. 8/10. My friend had the toast with jam and vegan butter. I don't know if we were just hungry or otherwise, but we both loved the toasts we ordered. I also got an iced latte and he got an mocha latte and the coffee was perfectly fine. 7/10. I would come back here again for sure. $12 for a decent latte and an avocado toast works for me!

YVO still holds 5 stars, 5 years later. Love the mango immunity smoothie and the 50/50 options. Everything is just so so good. And the vegan honey... o.m.g. Buy some!

Metal storage container "bank", up on blocks out in the middle of the desert. Seems legit to me.

Visiting from San Bernardino and wasn't expecting to find any vegan places out this way but I'm so glad we stopped here! Food was so delicious and fresh and the wraps were HUGE! April is very sweet and had us try the sea moss which was actually really good! She had great service and she was kind enough to bring the food to our car since it's raining out. Otherwise in better weather outdoor seating looks nice. If I'm in the area again I will for sure come back :+) (would include pics but we ate everything in like five seconds)

Such a unique menu that's healthy and filling for post-Joshua tree hiking. The Pestocado was something that'll make you want to recreate it at home! The hummus wrap has nothing but a smooth tasty hummus with fresh vegetables adding amazing texture to the meal. Saffron rose rice pudding caught our attention so we ordered it and although we were extremely full, we were glad to have experienced the floral dessert! the coco rosie was delicious! I wish the cup was bigger.A small gravel parking lot is available to pull into. When we arrived it was around 10:30a and there were no crowds.

Right outside of J tree when you get off the highway it's a great stop for healthy vegan food. Couple salads wraps chili, deserts smoothies.Just me but I do wish they would disclose more if what's in some items on the menu. I had no clue I'd be not eating half due to the olive overtake lolOnly open weekends F-Sunday, family is kind that runs it, quality of food was good! Would def visit again when driving back out to the desert.

Very good vegan spot in Joshua Tree and reasonably priced. We went for brunch and got: 1. Pesto-Cado which came with a whole avocado+pesto, salad and pita bread. 2. Hummus wrap: the garlic in hummus is light and not overpowering, 3. Saffron Rose Rice Pudding: reminds me chai latte in pudding form, 4. Coco Rosie: hot chocolate + rose water, very floral, 5. Dirty Rosie: coco rosie + coffee. Everything is good and I love the healthy options! Outdoor seating only

Came here for a healthy breakfast, indoor dining wasn't an option but it sure was nice outside so that was okay. Loved to see all the healthy options on the menu, would love to come back to try more!

Loved this place. The service was great and welcoming. The drinks were refreshing and the food was so filling. My bf said the bathrooms were very clean as well. I'm definitely coming back for more. 5:5

What a great find! We stumbled across this quaint cafe on our drive to Joshua Tree. The selection of food is great and reasonably priced. We tried a variety of items, including the pesto-Cado, chili (wow!), Iced Coco Rosie, and desserts. Everything was delicious and served to us by the kind woman up front. They also have sea moss face masks that I highly recommend!

Highly recommend stopping by here for delicious food and coffee. I really enjoyed the rose water addition to many of the their menu items. This is a great vegan-friendly cafe. As someone who is not vegan I found the menu to be well rounded. I will definitely be coming back next time I'm in the area. Prices are also very reasonable.
