We love this little gem!!! Spacious room, large bed, very clean, ceramic in-room mugs, a desk for me to work on my laptop, modern bathroom and sink, good hair dryer and best of all a fridge for my favorite food items! Location is walking distance from many cafes, restaurants and the Moro Bay itself!

Location is great, staff is very warm and helpful. Rooms are basic but very clean and our double queen was spacious. Price is very good.
Cons were the pillows- very hard and/or lumpy. My husband and I woke up with sore necks both days. Also the mattresses aren't that comfortable for 60 year old bodies.

They were so nice and accommodating! Let us check in early and let us check out late. They were on grounds if we had any questions. The shower situation was confusing but we figured it out. Convenient location, right next to the Embarcadero! Good times.

Nice place. Clean. Great location. Comfortable bed. Friendy staff.
Rooms: Refrigerator and microwave. Large bathroom.
Nearby activities: Super close to the Embarcadero.
Safety: Well lit parking lot. Felt very safe.
Walkability: Easy walk to Main st.

Great place to stay!!! We stay there all the time,when we go to Morro Bay. You can walk to dinner, and go for a beach walk.
Walkability: You can walk to dinner. Take a walk to the Morro Bay Rock. Walk to all the gift shops. Walk to the antique shops and thrift stores. There is a lot of walking to do.
Food & drinks: Dutchman restaurant has a great happy hour, but its over at 5:00pm and great dinners. Bayside Cafe at the marina has great food. Great service, friendly staff and delicious food at both restaurants. ? ❤️

The staff are super friendly, accommodating and kind. The rooms here are sooo wonderfully clean, spacious, and most matresses here are super comfy. So grateful to have found this hidden jam. Thank you staff at Fireside Inn.
One thing I disliked was right after my awesome car wash, the darn loud seagulls crapped all over my car hood! ?. Lol. Had to hand wash it next day.
Still an awesome hotel to get great rest in. ?

Very nice room. Clean, spaceous, comfy beds. The toilet and shower are in an extra room, sink is open towards the room. Nightlight at hairdryer can be turned off, just in case it bothers you. There's a fridge and TV. Enough towels and amenities.
Check in went fast, the area is quiet. It is a short walk down to the water. Breakfast Cafés are not far off. Free parking on the premises.
One big con though: Wifi did not really work. Sometimes our devices would connect with the Wifi but it told us, there was no internet. Sometimes it didn't even connect with the wifi, because there was no wifi. It did not work at all on back of the room. The nice lady at the reception told us maybe there were too many people in the wifi at times. I don't think so (parking lot was empty, early afternoon, not many people in I think). And anyway, shouldn't you be able to provide all your guests with Wifi nowadays?! Having Wifi problems was a real bummer, as we are foreigners and don't have an american SIM. I checked the reviews, people did report that at least as far as two years back. Might also depend on the location of your room, I think we were in room 215, anyway, just in the center of the hotel.
I would totally recommend this hotel, it is nice and the price we payed was great for what we got. Just be aware, there might not be Wifi available.
