“This place has something for everyone! There are piles of pretty but inexpensive shells for kids to choose from, medium-to-large specimens on display stands for the discerning, and shelves with a wide variety of types of shelves for the serious collector. There were also your more typical tourist buys, like the wind chimes and hanging shell creations and shell jewelry and such. Plus a line of buyers at the register, so business was going forth enthusiastically here. It's a fascinating place for a wide range of ages.”

“Great little gift shop. Recently reopened as Grandma's Mercantile on Main shortly before our visit on July 25th 2022 Same street address, but email is now [email protected] Tel: (805) 225-1295 Wonderfully quirky, interesting stock, and friendly owner. My son wanted to pick up friendship bracelets for his friends and we found them here along with a beautiful picture and a few other items. Lovely welcome and great conversation. Would happily shop here again!”

“Came in here with family and while I didn't buy anything for myself, I can definitely see the appeal of a shop like this! Kaya was so kind and helpful and went out of her way to help my whole family with anything they needed. If the manager sees this, you're fortunate to have her on staff! I'll definitely come back when I want to bring some locally made gifts back home for friends/family.”

“The store continues to grow! I see you guys have expanded. Love the new Horror section. As a movie enthusiast, I've always enjoyed stopping by as there's always something new on the shelves. Sabin, the owner, knows his nostalgia. Worth your visit.”
