We love eating at Tacos El Viejon. It is a Spanish language imersion experience, full of Mexican culture. Spanish on the TV, Spanish spoken at the tables, and at the counter, if you wish. We especially love the cheese and shrimp tacos, the carnitas, and the al pastor. The crispy tacos are a treat. They are deep fried shells, not the store bought box style. Everything is very good. The green sauce is tasty, flavorful, without too much heat. The food is on the salty side, and I like it, it goes great with cold beer. This is a fun experience with a sweet and friendly crew. Parking is on the street and in the back. Very convenient. Plenty of indoor only seating. Tami says try 'em brah!

Came here to have some tacos. Found they had a deal for the tacos. So we go buy one get one free on their chicken tacos on Wednesdays. The gentleman that helped us was really nice and funny.Dietary restrictions: I’m allergic to dairy

I like to try local restaurants and in Morro Bay there are a lot of Mexican restaurants so you better be good. Ordered the signature dish Mojarra. Tilapia was fried whole served with fresh avocado, salad, rice and beans chips and tortilla. It was fresh fish and seasoned very well. The salsa bar is nice as well. The place is a paper plate plastic fork type of restaurant, but this dish would cost you double in a fine dining place and they would be proud to serve it. Cook was perfect, they are friendly and helpful, and I don't speak Spanish. $25 with a beer

Just went in to get dinner with my son, we have been here a few times before. I wanted 2 cheese enchiladas and the man said 3 enchiladas combo I said ok fine 3 enchiladas but no rice and beans he told me no! Like really? I have to have the rice and beans? Even though I don’t want them? Like I’ll pay for the combo just don’t put the rice and beans, he still said no. I was shocked ? and offended and felt sad that the man would be so rude!

Amazing food. Amazing service. This is probably my 100+ time eating at Bejon and it’s always perfect. Today I got tacos and he brought me a beer, fantastic. The burritos (although I didn’t get one today) out of this world. Come here if you’re in town ?

Calling your (white) customer "cabron" after they tipped the max amount? Interesting. No salsa with the chips and a dryer than the Sahara burrito? 1/5
