Such a nightmare and complete lack of customer service. I even got hung up on because they didn't feel like answering my questions to confirm my reservation. Beware they only have a single 15 ft truck at any given time so when it's reserved, that's it. And they don't open until 10 am or have anything mobile to get early access.

Lousy and expensive experience - they now have a smartphone-based system that supposedly takes care of the reservation, since this location is in Moss Beach and there is no U-Haul office there. Surprise, surprise, the online system doesn't work well, which once I went to pick the van up, meant being put on endless hold on the phone. Then I went into the market to see if anyone there could help. The surly clerk finally helped me (while stopping several times to cash out anyone who came into the store to buy stuff). It turns out you have to get the key from the store clerk, so it's not accurate that this is completely automated, it just makes you have a frustrating online experience first. The van had seen better days - I was glad to finish my errand safely. Adding insult to injury, their system sent me a text - while I was driving - so I didn't see it, telling me to use their automated system to check the van back in. I didn't see it (note the rental agreement prohibits texting while driving) , and when I went back to the store to drop off the key, the clerk said that was all I needed to do. I didn't see the text later - it included a warning that U-Haul would charge $20 for not using the online check-in system. All-in-all, U-Haul is trying to eliminate employees, while making customers pay through the nose to use their terrible online system. Will never use them again.

Excellent service. The truck was ready at the appointed time, clean and mechanically sound.The people were professional and pleasant to deal with.

Rented trailer in Sacramento for a one way trip with scheduled drop off in Moss Beach. Reservation was confirmed and created. When I called to be sure they were open the guy said I couldn't drop off there because he had no space and he didn't have my reservation. I gave him the reservation and told him we would drop off in 20 mins. Wish me luck.

Gave us the truck on empty didn't do s walk through and a piece of the gas tank was missing so gas leaked out and we had to call road side assistance and the truck is no longer driveable. Worst experience ever do not rent from this location
