This is a lovely motel. The buildings are older but the rooms have clearly been updated. Most importantly (to me) our room was very clean. The staff is so friendly. I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in town.

This is the best $130 we've spent on a room, anywhere, in I don't know how long! We stayed for 11.5 hrs on Saturday night (on our way up to Oregon) and it was worth it! We got #37 a king room, at 9pm, and it was great. Entire parking lot brightly lit with light strands. Easy to get into room even though office wasn't open. Front desk girl (Sherri?) polite over phone and even called me back once, when i called but didn't leave a message, just to check if i needed help with something. The little lodge where the office is (and possibly the bar? I didn't go that far in) looked like a nice place to hang out and have a drink or coffee, with lots of tables and chairs.Cozy, but roomy. Everything clean! The floors, the walls, the bed, the bathroom, the towels (almost new), the fridge and microwave, even the curtains and shower curtain (new)! Even the remote! Waaattt?! (See all pics.) It was rustic and cute. Bed was comfortable, a little firm which we like. Heater was hot (it lightly snowed in the morning). Edison bulbs, shelves made of pipes and wood, nice soaps/shampoos, tiny coffee maker with 2 packs each of regular AND decaf (which i mix) and sugar/cream packets, 2 luggage stands! - all little touches that show someone CARES. I applaud the housekeepers. I cleaned rooms for the Marriott for almost 2 years back in the day, so I know what things should look like. The bed was made like we did the Marriott: bottom sheet, top sheet, then comforter, then another top sheet to protect comforter, then small blanket folded at end - all clean and perfect. Will ONLY stay here if we come back this way again. Thank you so much!

Stayed one night. It was clean. Didn't care for the bed. It was on the hard side. The heater took so e time to fihure out I needed to take it off auto. So the room took forever to heat. It was a super cold rainy night. Can't use the fire place. Was happy they are dog friendly.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay here after a long drive from LA. Sherry was extremely helpful and accomodating with booking our room. Lovely inn if your looking to unwind and relax before your next adventure in Mount Shasta area :) a huge plus for us the room had a heater and ac unit. They also have a restaurant conveniently located right inside. Would highly recommend staying here.

A wonderful place to stay. The staff is super helpful, friendly and patient. Above and beyond the norm.I ended up extending my stay, twice, and they were amazing at accommodating and making it seamless even through the busy weekend. This is where I would stay when I return.

We went there after a day of riding on the mountain to watch the Superbowl and the staff felt like a second family to me and my girlfriend. Really friendly and the food was phenomenal ?Nearby activities: Mt Shasta Ski park. In the summer a nice garden with a taphouse is right across the street.Food & drinks: They have both and it was a great selection of quality food and a full bar.

One of the best lodging options in the town of Mt Shasta! My wife and I stayed there for 4 nights for a quick post-X-mas backcountry skiing trip (nowhere else on the West Coast was there decent snowfall other than on Mt Shasta above 7000ft!). Our room had been remodeled just a few years ago and was perfectly clean. Most amenities were there and in working condition, including a fridge. Only the TV was an old, low-res flat screen with no way to plug in a Chromecast, but even if we had found an HDMI port, the wi-fi was too slow to stream anything with decent quality. The bathroom lacks property ventilation, and opening the window while or after you shower is the only way to vent humidity; but there were no visible signs of mold. We used the Tesla destination chargers, and one night when they were all blocked by ICE cars the reception staff went out of their way to free up one of the chargers for us. Much appreciated, and we'll definitely stay here again!

I was heading south on I-5, decided to stop here for the night. I was so glad I did, they had amazing meals at the restaurant. I'd go back to just to eat even if I had a place to stay. In the morning I woke up with a completely flat tire and no tools to swap the tire out. Eric their maintenance worker helped me get back on the road in no time. Tha ks Shasta Inn, I'll be back for sure!

We really liked this place. It's well located in Shasta town and near by the attractions like the Sky park, Shasta Lake (45 min), Burney Falls (30min) and other nice locations to visit. The hotel personnel are amazing.Nearby activities: Go to the sky park (10 min driving) or the Burney Falls from hereWalkability: You need a carFood & drinks: Grab and go for breakfast bags. Nice detail. They have a restaurant. It's a bit pricey for my budget so we didn't try it. Pizza place nearby was great!!

Very cozy rooms with nice carpeting and a comfortable bed. My only (minor) issues are the noisy heater/AC unit and the lack of a fan in the bathroom. Solid breakfast bag. Would be happy to stay again.
