If I could write a 0 star review I would. I know that gyms in general make money off of people not showing up, but this one is genuinely a scam. Many machines are frequently out of service, and when they are finally "replaced," the replacement machines are also broken so the machines are still out of order.Go to this gym if you enjoying standing around looking at broken gym equipment that is somehow all 30 years old even though this location was recently renovated. I'm pretty sure they spent all their money on the front desk area. The people who work there are perfectly friendly (and it's not their fault), but talking to gym staff is not going to burn any calories.

A lot of the equipment is out order. Some of the machines have been broken for months. (It looks like all the equipment is old and recycled from other gyms) This place is mostly dirty. The all gender bathroom is always a mess and often out of order.More over, employees and some managers at front desk are usually eating or snacking during working hours even when talking to or helping people out.Convinient for me but it looks very bad to just recently be remodeled.

It's a solid gym. The only problem is so many things seem to get broken n never repaired. Mostly all the cardio machines

This gym is absolutely atrocious. Not only is it Disgusting and entirely overpopulated, they will deliberately scam you regarding memberships and payment. I have been trying to cancel my membership for two weeks now, I was told the only way to cancel my membership was to call a number they had given me. I have been calling this number for weeks, different days, different times, and yet it continues to say they are closed every time I call. I even called the gym location that I used to attend, the idiot on the phone told me I just need to try to keep calling and hope that they answer. This company is scamful, deceitful and just overall full of genuine corruption and idiots.

Have you ever felt sorry for the staff at a gym because no matter how nice they are, they're stuck working under the incompetence of corporate executives—like the EPIC failure of those who designed the newly reopenedMountain View club. The most popular area of the gym is packed solid from 5AM to 1AM, to the point of being unsafe, while areas like the personal pay-by-the-hour training room sit EMPTY! Squats racks sit empty while lines of people wait for benches and free weights. And what's up with the water fountains that NEVER work. I have a challenge for any executive at 24 Hour Fitness who is actually into fitness and training: Come spend one full week working out at this location and then honestly share your experience with us! This location was NOT well planned!I have a challenge for any executive at 24 Hour Fitness whose actually into fitness and training: Come spend one full week working out at this location and then honestly share you experience with us! Ridiculously overcrowded. Equipment is broken or unavailable. Too expensive for what you get. This place is a travesty, a bad joke.

Tommy, nothing has changed since you last posted. Also your employees told me that there is no corporate feedback infrastructure and that they had asked you and you had confirmed that there was none and just to post on google… and now that you’ve pointed us to the corporate feedback form it kinda looks like you’re trying to shield yourself from the mismanagement of this facility, therefore the data gathering will go on:12/39 treadmills broke3 stair climbers broken50% of weights not racked in placeOne cable machine bustedFabric on curl machine torn upFabric on bench press stretched out and misfoldedOne short tempered employee giving excuses12/4 morning before work8 tread mills3 ellipticals3 stationary bikesOne hand sanitizerFree weights - all benches occupied, 50% working in pairsCable weights - 90% occupiedFree motion cable crossover - still brokenRacks - 100% occupied12/6 Morning before work1 recumbent6 elliptical6 treadCable cross over still brokenFree weights crowded with only 1 bench available and people waiting at stationsPaper towels in freeweight area empty as was hand santizer12/8 Saturday 7am not so busy, but it’s 7AM. Compared to most of the other super sports in the area, this one is a little bit behind, but it is generally clean and has nice equipment. The equipment, especially the cardio equipment is pretty continually at around 20-30% capacity and the batch fix them like once every 6 months. Pretty frustrating.

Got turned away by an uneducated and rude front desk person, who demanded to show proof of residency with my name on it even though I only had my ID and I am new to the area. If you are going to offer a free 3 day pass for new members, you should allow people without a local address on their ID as many new members will be new to the area. I felt like I was being screened by the TSA.

Very rude front desk attendant. I came to try the gym and I wasn’t let in because I am supposed to have Mountain View in my ID. Which is fine, but she was super rude about it.

It’s open early on weekends! Lmao. That’s the best part. A lot of the gym equipment seating and rests are torn and dilapidated. City sport club is a cleaner/nicer gym.Updated 23 Dec 2023The gym was a mess at 6am today. I think if gym staff would actually clean up and walk around simple gym rules like racking your weights would be followed. It felt filthy in there

This gym has the least desireable people here EXCLUDING EMPLOYEES. I rarely workout at this gym because every time I do, you have certain types of nasty, disgusting males who just pass gas all over the place. Raise the membership prices if you need to, it will fix that problem quick. Won't go back here totally unacceptable.

My membership ended, did not renew. This is hands down the worst gym in the state, possibly the country. Missing a bunch of muscle groups machines, always busy and crowded, half the machines don't work or are out of order, the space is not maximized, they could easily add more machines. Waste of money.

Probably the most impressive 24h Fitness location in all of Silicon Valley - new equipment, clean, not busy. But for some reason they don't have Adaptive Motion elliptical trainers. Why not replace some of the regular elliptical trainers with AMTs?
