Sadly we feel fleeced. We switched from our vet in Palo Alto because we felt overcharged and Banfield said their costs for a simple blood test were lower. Once we brought our cat in, they started the selling technique. Because my husband brought our cat in, they convinced him to buy a year plan for $1000.00. They failed to write down that our cat needs thyroid medicine (which was on her chart from he other vet). I just called them to ask if they could put a prescription into Costco and they said the medication was not in her files?!? Really, that's what we originally brought our cat in for is a thyroid check. The staff answering the phone, Garrett, seemed put out and indignant when I asked if we could get them to contact Costco to put in the prescription. They added more meds that are cat does not seem to need as well.I am super upset about being roped into this wellness plan and would love to talk to someone in corporate.

Total scam. Appointments are weeks out even if your pet is having a medical emergency. (example - my dog was urinated blood and the soonest they could see her was three weeks later...uhhhh, no). When you do get care from a vet, you are rushed in and out and nickel and dime'd. There are better places to take your pet staffed by people and organizations that actually care about the well being of your beloved pet. Disgusted.

Staff is usually helpful and friendly. Veterinarian seems kind of rushed but seems to care about the patients. Scheduling can be a bit of a pain and expect to wait when checking in or picking up.

I am glad the banfield hospital in mountain view is closing in December. They killed many pets there and severely injured many pets.They injured both my pets and blamed it on my pets. They had a responsibility while my pets were in their care. My new pet was nervous so I asked the front desk to make sure to put on a leash on her before taking her out of the carrier so she wont try to run and she did run and when I picked her up her paws had deep cuts and my other pet had the same type of injuty on her paws. I spoke to the management and even called their corporate office showed them pictures of the injuries and banfield failed to take any blame or accountability. They dont deny the injuries but denied it was done by their staff which I don't believe someone in there had a bad day and took it out on my pets. I never got an apology nor any kind of remorse. They have many complaints my concern is why is being ignored. The good is is that banfield is gone from there no pets will suffer anymore after December 2021. Its the most horrible place I ever been to poor customer and very unprofessional staff April, Dr. Gross all lof them and the corporate office ignored all complaints.

Most horrible customer service and front desk personnel I have ever experienced. Not only do you not get through to them over the phone (called over 15 times today), they are extremely rude. The girl at the front desk, Tenyelle, did not even acknowledge me when I got there (there was no other customers) and the young man Sam kept talking over me and when I asked him not to do that he kept scanning my body up and down. I don't know if he was trying to intimate me but it was extremely uncomfortable. We have been going to Banfield for 11 years and years ago, but over the past few years this place has just gotten so unpleasant to go to. I would never recommend going there to anyone anymore.

I switched from a different Benefield location since the one I usually take her were not available as soon as this location. It was still a wait since so many more pet owners over covid. I ended up staying here I felt they went above and beyond and very thorough. Today my dog who is almost 8 was overdue for her deep cleaning appt.I've been doing this annually since I had her but her teeth were never white after. But today she was seen by Dr. Gross and I can't believe how pearly white my dogs teeth are. They look gorgeous!

Overall, I've had good experiences here. The staff is very friendly and they love seeing my dog. My only complaint is that sometimes I have to ask the technicians vet questions and the vet never calls me to answer my concerns. COVID definitely makes it tough since I cannot go into the exam room with my pet, but I think the middle-man communication could be improved a bit.
