Is anyone having issues having their rent adjusted based on their non compliance with the City of Mountain View and the Rent Stabilization? In 2021 and 2022 they were not compliant with the city and illegally raised rents. The City notified me in October and to date they have not resolved my issue. Additionally any follow up is heavily ignored.

In the past I would have given this place 3 stars but the new management has really stepped up and made improvements. They are very responsive and helpful with any questions or issues I've had.

As a new resident here for three month, I’d say this is overall a great place to live. But special credit to one manager in the leasing office, Elizabeth. She’s really professional and kind, probably the best manager I’ve ever seen.

Great location, good prices, amazing trees.Love to walk my dog around and watch the pond and ducks.Very nice and professional staff and great maintenance team.Nice remodeled pool and amenities.

On November 6, 2023, four (4) cars windows got broken and two cars trunks were looted, for a total of six cars looted in the parking lot on the same day. Just imagine the past days/months/years. I also came to know a few lost catalytic converters and car tires were striped out, and a lot of shipping packages were looted in front of the door. a lot of strangers knocking on doors late at night. Management is not taking any measures, rather than balming the tenant. This is a pet-friendly community, but some dogs are not well trained and have tried to jump on us while walking in the community. This place is not worth paying such a high rent with a lot of serious safety issues. A lot of people liked this place at first, but after terminating the contract and moving out of this community due to safety concerns, one of the biggest primary issues was overlooked by the management. Management talks very nicely, but no security measures have been added so far.

I enjoy living at Brookside apartments. The complex is really nice and quiet. There are a lot of parking spots. Elizabeth is proactive and really helpful. She helped us a lot since day one, always willing to listen to you and help you as much as she can. I appreciate that a lot. I highly recommend this complex.

It is a great place for pets, with many windows and pet-friendly features. Elizabeth was very welcoming and helpful throughout the lease signing and move-in process.

Amazing community. Work is always being done around to upkeep the place so it's in great condition. Within the last year, they finished a new fitness room, redid the pool, redid the gazebo, added semi regular events for kids and adults (snow cone party, blood drive, etc.). The maintenance and management staff are extremely friendly and reliable. Not to mention it's a dog friendly community so it's great seeing the little puppers walking around ?. We have an older model unit but it's very spacious (2/2 1100sqft) and we've never had any issues. Absolutely love this place

Elizabeth was accommodating when I initially had an issue with the shower. She responded quickly and did her very best to mitigate it. My cat used to be outdoors and loves looking out the windows. Def recommend if you have or like pets!

We’ve been living here for almost two years now and I am very happy with Brookside Park apartments! It’s such a charming apartment complex!They have remodeled and classic units, both are nice and clean and come with an in-unit washer/dryer. The territory is very well kept, it’s always clean and the pathways are well swept. There is a very nice pond in the middle of the complex with a canopy and there are lots of trees that provide a lot of shade which keeps the area a bit cooler in the summer.The complex has nice amenities too - two gyms, pool with a hot tub, secure lockers for packages, and even a dog spa. The management and maintenance services are also great, they’ve always addressed our maintenance requests very quickly.I am also very happy with how safe the area is. I feel comfortable walking our dogs even in the evening and I haven’t seen any car break-ins or anything of that sort in the area.
