“I had a wonderful experience talking to Steven over the phone when trying to put together a bouquet for my daughter’s graduation. At that point, I had already gone to several places looking for the flowers my daughter really wanted to have in the bouquet, pink lilies. It was really difficult to find in the big box stores, like Costco, Wholefoods, Trader Joe’s, or Safeway, so my husband suggested Fleur de Lis, a small business near our home in Mountain View. He said he had great experience in the past and the owner was very nice. Steven was attentive and patient and listened to what I was trying to describe, which was not easy on the phone. I also asked him to make some suggestions. Even though he said he rarely works with lilies in his arrangement (because a lot of people are allergic to them), he was still willing to put together what I wanted for my daughter. After about half an hour on the phone with him, he seemed to know exactly what I wanted and what he was going to do. Pickup was on the day after, but the next day, I was a bit nervous and anxious about how everything turned out and thought if there is the slightest chance that it didn’t come out right, I still had time to get something off the shelf even if it wasn’t ideal. I reached out to Steven and he sent me a picture. The bouquet looked so elegant! I only asked him to make a slight change and he immediately accommodated. My daughter loved the bouquet and it matched her outfit so elegantly and beautifully! Thank you Steven!”

City of Flowers went above and beyond because when they delivered the flowers, they were told that the family is only having a graveside service. City of Flowers delivered the flowers to the gravesite, and called me to let me know what happened. Thank you for getting the flowers where they were supposed to be!”
