Nijiya Market Mountain View Store is a small Japanese grocer offering a pleasant shopping experience. It provides all the essentials in high quality, including great, consistent fresh fish and sashimi, locally sourced sushi, tofu, and pastries. There is a nice selection of groceries, supplies for cooking, authentic Japanese products, and high-quality organic produce. For takeaway, it offers fresh and seasonal bento boxes, pre-packaged sushi, noodles, rice boxes, and lots of side dishes. Its Japanese style bento, like Katsudon or Karaage, are very reasonable, decent tasting, and cheaper than expected at lunch. The market is a bit pricey but fair, with polite and attentive service. It is a fun market to pick up snacks or meals.

Review 2000 here!! This location is so clean and convenient to shop at. I like all the options and especially the food court, where you can have a quick meal for under $20. Staff always friendly and helpful.
