Opal By Arena is a venue open for drinks and dancing, featuring the Bay Area's hottest DJs and new upcoming artists. It is also Silicon Valley's top-rated venue for corporate, private, and social events, offering a turnkey service with complimentary planning, sound, lighting, AV technology, gourmet in-house catering, and versatile furniture. The venue has undergone a renovation and looks much better. The atmosphere is pleasant and fun, with enjoyable and amazing music, including special Y2K nights. It is a good sized club. The staff is attentive and welcoming; bottle service is highly rated with the best bottle deals, and staff diligently check on and replace used glasses. There is a private VIP balcony area. Entry is free until 10:30pm. Some downsides include the floors being sticky all over the club, from the entrance to the dance floor. The bathrooms needed some maintenance throughout the night but were adequately stocked. While bartenders made an effort, they were not top-notch and sometimes did not have requested drinks. Prices per person can seem quite steep, though there is some flexibility. A unique offering is alcoholic boba, though the infusion in the pearls can be barely noticeable.
Great little shack. We held our event here and it couldn't have been better. The highlight of this club is the sound system and lights. I was very impressed. For being a smaller space it felt roomy.
The local area is very safe and plenty of parking in the back or across.
