I’ve been to this park many times but never really noticed this house. Today I finally stopped to read the story behind it, about a German immigrant who built his life here through hard work and vision. It’s such an inspiring reminder of how much courage it took to start a new life back then.

We visited this beautiful historic house on Saturday morning. A knowledgeable docent showed us around and shared the fascinating history of the property. This place is rich in Bay Area history—highly recommended if you’re in the area!
