This WF branch never answers the phone, and even for simple questions force you to go online and set up an appointment, that they do not honor. A total waste of time and disrespect for customer. WF understands Customer Service as customers servicing WF, not the other way around!

This branch needs to figure out their staffing. A lot of supervisor types standing around, but only two tellers actually working (and one seemed to be in training), and customers piling up for service. I overheard one of the managers telling an irate customer that "this is our new staffing model" as if that was a useful explanation.On the good side: the building is nice, they keep it clean, and parking (under the building) is convenient.

You can't open account weekends even if they are open. Guy say you can open account with your employment card online but they don't accept it online. You can wait inside and nobody will help you.

I've been a Mt View resident for 30 yrs and I've had to utilize this branch for banking including settling estates for my parents back in 2007-07. I recently lost my oldest sister this year and again they were helpful in resolving my sisters trust including accessing a bank deposit box that wasn't utilized since early 2000. Both Hansen Lee (MtView) and Sanjeev Kumar (SF) were so helpful in assisting this transition of trust and accessing a box to access contents. They have always been extremely helpful to me with all services and transactions! Thank You so much!

I did not appreciate being advised by the staff with incorrect information. The wrong information was related to the COVID government assistance thru moneynetwork. Telling customers to reduce the transfer amount by some number of dollars to cover fees was not correct in my situation. Now I have moneynetwork cards with a tiny balance.

Totally not a customer oriented bank. ATM keeps blocking my cash withdraw and no banker bothers to help. Other tellers are chit chatting and let customers wait.

This is for Hanson Lee, the banker who helped me sort out a beneficiary claim. The appointments were easy to secure with a notary, was able to get a time slot within a day of needing it. Minimal wait, the manager checked in on me to apologize for the wait despite it only being a few minutes. Hanson was kind during a difficult time, walked me through the steps of a beneficiary claim, and got everything in order within 30 minutes. Overall, would highly recommend. Seems like a well run place with customer-focused people.

Easy way to get cash with these two Castro street facing ATMs. There’s no need to carry around your ATM card, if you have an iPhone. Enter your ATM card into the Apple wallet, then use Apple Pay and wave your phone over the ATM reader. Enter PIN and get your cash. Your receipt can be sent to your email on file to save on paper waste. Excellent and fast machines. There are a couple more inside the bank and one in the building lobby. The ones in the bank can dispense $100 bills.

Wells Fargo is one of the worst banks ever. Absolutely crooked bank, they removed money from my deposit I had made, and then said I had to prove to them that I had made the deposit!!!They have been investigated for fraudulently opening accounts for people and charging them already. The problem is they have little competition when it comes to large banks.They have minimums on all accounts that I have, and absolutely horrid charges. The service at this bank in Mountain View has always been poor. In fact, I just asked them a question and they gave me the completely wrong answer. They have now moved to a building across the street, with little to no street parking and the branch is like a sussage, where you have to enter from one door, get your transactions screwed up, and then leave from the other end of the building!!!

When I Googled Foreign currency exchange this was the only bank to come up so I thought they would take my Can$ but unless I opened or had an existing account there Wells Fargo wouldn't exchange my $$$. So for anyone looking to exchange foreign currency don't bother even walking in the door unless you have an account with them or are willing to open one.
