Slide Ranch could not be a more beautiful location, and there are numerous ways to engage with nature. The educational opportunities for children are also wonderful, and Slide Ranch is a great spot for kids' summer camps and school visits (my children have loved it). Highly recommend a visit.

Slide Ranch makes the joy of outdoor exploration and farming accessible to everyone! Incredible for families (littles, too!!) to stop by unannounced for a wander or to participate in programming. Milk a goat. Hug a chicken. Hike to the tide pools. S’mores on the coast while camping. What could be more amazing? A MUST visit for local and visiting families/people/folx — and a place to keep returning as you build relationships with the land, the animals, and the warm community. I L💚VE Slide Ranch.

Absolutely loved hosting my yoga retreat at Slide Ranch. From start to finish, the staff were incredibly helpful—responsive, informative, and genuinely supportive in making the event smooth and special. The space was spotless, beautifully maintained, and even more breathtaking in person. The views, the yurt, the land—it all created the perfect container for deep connection and restoration. Highly recommend for anyone looking to host something meaningful in a setting that truly inspires.

My partner and I host day long yoga retreats at Slide Ranch and it is the most magical place. They have a beautiful yurt perched over the ocean and a commercial kitchen/dining area that make hosting easy. The grounds are awe inspiring, the staff are incredibly kind and the wildlife and farm animals are amazing to behold. Definitely take a trip to Slide soon and check it out, it's always open to the public!

I absolutely love this place! I bring my children and family here multiple times every year for camping and summer camp. The director, Myla, is smart and warm - as all are the staff.

Came here to use the trailhead for a hike down to the tide pools. Park in the parking lot, go down past the goats until you get to a random sign with a long store pointing to the right. Follow that trail to the "dome trail", past the "bone Grove", and once you find the dome, walk across the meadow until you see the path down to the beach. Make sure to check when low tide is!

Explore the surroundings and animals in peace. The kids will love the sheep, bee nests, chickens and ducks. Camping is possible here, but it's windy and cold at night.

Not much to see/do at the ranch (but we weren’t with a guide), but the tide pools were a hit with the kids!

An absolute treasure near Muir Beach. See Sheep, Goats, Chicken and Ducks on an inspiring cliff-side view. Tidal pool trail is fun — just be very careful on super slippery rocks. They have on-site bathrooms and friendly staff on-site. Parking can be tight on a busy day, but it is a rather big lot.Best of all, this trail experience is free
