Cute little tasting room, it was nice we were able to sit down. Tastings were free. Our server was pretty nice until we said we didn't want to purchase any wine then she got really rude and said that we could still leave a tip. We didn't care for the wine so weren't going to purchase any. We were shocked at her attitude. :-/

You truly only get one chance to make a first impression, and you failed. I always assume these establishments are "for profit". I walked in today to check it out while my family was shopping next door. I asked for a glass of their Merlot, since it's my favorite wine, and there was no need for me to wade thru wines that I may not care for to get to the Merlot. The lady replied that they were only in the business of "selling by the bottle". A little surprised by her reply, I asked for a tasting then, and I'm always 100% happy to pay for what I ask for. She motioned over to some guy sitting at a close table and he appeared to wave it off, I'm assuming his motioning said no. I walked out and will never step foot in this establishment again. However a neighboring wine tasting facility a couple doors down was very happy to have my business, selling me my glass of Merlot, plus 6 other bottles of their wine.

We stopped in for some wine tasting the other day. First we started with the wine makers wife trying to serve my 17 yr old and said "oops I should have known that" when I said she can't drink she's a minor. Then the dog growled at my 5yr old scaring her. The wine was okay, but we did not purchase any. The pours are very small as you try about 9 or 10 of them but we couldn't really decide if we like them because it was one sip. The tasting was free (I didn't know this until the end) but the wine makers wife seemed put off we didn't want to purchase any wine. I think they should look into getting some friendly staff!

Allegorie wines were new to us, and we were so glad to stop in for a tasting. The tasting was free and if you buy three bottles you get a discount. This is one winery you'll have to try while in Murphy, the reds here are pretty amazing. Our favorites were the Petite Syrahs and Zinfandel, however all of their wines were excellent. The wine maker, who served our wine was great company as well and provided exceptional commentary for each wine that was poured.

Very spacious tasting room and counter. Attendant was very friendly and did a nice job explaining each wine. Wine was great - walked out buying 3 bottles!

I'm not much of a wine drinker but these wines were fantastic. The wine maker was pouring himself and he just added to the experience and was able to tell us where all the grapes were from. We came here with the three little kids and they had plenty of room on a Wednesday afternoon. Favorite was the Petite Rose YUMMY!!

I like Murphy's for wine. It's not my fave wine spot overall but it's still great and close to our cabin. But this place takes the cake for best wine and experience in Murphy's every time for me. Their red blend I could drink every night.

Fun wine tasting experience. Super nice wine maker and staff. Wines are excellent, both red and white. One of my two top favorites in Murphys with Vina Moda.

So I called and made a reservation to do winetasting. Went to the address that's on the website on Main and it was closed. So I called the number and was told you need to come to our winery which was about five minutes away. Not sure why I wasn't told this when I called. The wine was just OK. The girl that served us didn't tell us anything about the wines didn't check on us very much just brought the wine out and left it. My husband and I are used to people talking to us and explaining how it's made where it's made etc. They waive the wine tasting fee which is $15 if you buy a bottle of wine. So we bought two Barbera

This place has the best jewelry, art, and wine. I'm so pleased we stopped in here. From the hand sanitizer, masked employees, social distancing, and remarkable products, this is Murphys at its finest. My thanks to the great employees, yummy wine, and beautiful jewelry.

We had a lovely, COVID safe wine tasting experience here! We sat outside in the cute little alley next to the tasting room, and enjoyed the tasting flight that was brought out to us. The wines were good, especially the Chardonnay and Beno Gusto. The staff wore masks, and handled serving and payment outdoors in a manner that felt respectful and safe.I have pleasant memories of visiting Allegorie last summer, in pre-Covid times, gathering around the pianist and enjoying the live music. I look forward experiencing that again. In the meantime, I commend Allegorie for taking Covid-19 seriously and creating a safe wine tasting experience during this surreal time.

Came here a few months ago for the first time with my boyfriend and we loved the wines we tried -- I was even tempted to buy a case! In the end I settled on a Chardonnay, which is also funny because usually that's my least favorite white variety. Theirs is light, delicious, and perfect for a warm day. I visited again recently with a group of friends for my birthday and we were all so impressed by everything we tasted. I also noticed that there was no fee for joining their wine club, so I signed up and am now officially a member! Everyone with me also bought at least one bottle. I highly recommend at least visiting, if not signing up for a whole membership

I loved everything about this winery. We were treated so well, and owners spent time with us, talking about each wine we sampled. The atmosphere was really nice and laid back even tho Murphy's was crowded that weekend. Best of all, loved each wine we tasted and thought they have done a great job on both whites and reds. I definitely recommend this establishment!
