was not surprised to see so many negative comments, as I came here to write the exact same thing. My mom who doesn’t speak English is a patient there and I am always there with her for translation. We liked this place because of its location, it’s very close to our houses and is very convenient for both of us. We walked in, left all the information, filled out the forms, scheduled an appointment (the first available date was in a month from that moment) and left. Didn’t receive any communication, no calls or emails afterwards and simply waited for our appointment. I scheduled a day off work for that date, we got there early, 30 minutes before, only to find out that our appointment had been canceled that morning as we did not confirm it. They allegedly called and emailed us, but we didn’t respond, so they cancelled. No missed calls, no inbox, no spam, no indication that they tried to reach us on our end. So we schedule another appointment, again in a month from that moment of course. The front desk didn’t seem to care at all, was not apologetic or anything, as if it was our fault somehow. Ok, mistakes happen, but all the staff needs to do is admit they messed up, apologize and offer a solution to the issue. I asked to get on a waitlist in case of any cancellations, so we would get the appointment sooner. The next day they call us (oh miracle, the CAN reach us this time, they only needed to actually call!) and offer us a date sooner. Good. We have our appointment, everything goes well, so I let it go, as everyone can make a mistake.
Today we had our follow up appointment and we show up just 10 minutes early, but of course still wait for a long time before being invited in. They see us, we start discussing my mom’s medication and she gets confused with the names as she didn’t bring them with her (which is of course our fault, next we would bring them in to avoid such confusion). While we are getting pictures of the meds from the house, which took us maybe 3 minutes, the doctor leaves and says “I’ll be back in a minute”. The nurse comes back in, and starts talking to us not in a very polite manner. I give her the names of the medication that we need the refill for, but we still have questions for the doctor, as we’re still in the middle of our appointment (as I thought). apparently it was over, the doctor went to see another patient and said that we can wait more for her to come back, as she is with a patient right now (in the middle of our appointment) or we can get a call back. So we leave, but obviously no one calls us, so I call and request some answers to my questions. and guess what, they say they call me back with the answers and of course they don’t :)

Never been to a place that is this unprofessional. As you can see other comments they do not recognize your needs nor communicate in a professional manner not to mention the attire. Very rude you wont see the doctor only the assistent and she will do the back and fourth communication.
Would not recommend! The Menifee office is a lot nicer I can see why they have more appointments at this the Murrieta office compared to Menifee ( if you do decide to come here please get a second opinion before putting your faith into them ) 👍

This office is one of the most disorganized messes. I've been tolerating in for 4 years. But today I took my son in and when I got there they said I didn't have an appointment. Then I showed them I did and they found it. Then they said he didn't have insurance, so i stood there and called my insurance, got his number and the lady said "oh i had it expired but he has been here since 2020". Then another lady said. ohhh we cant see him now because its to late. IT WAS 10 MINUTES AFTER THE APPOINTMENT! They make you sit there for an hour after your appointment but when its their fault, nope. Not to mention you will book to be seen by the doctor but you never see a doctor!! Go somewhere else, your sanity will thank you.

I wish I could give zero stars. My experience with Atiga Family Practice has been appalling. The receptionist's language barrier is significant, making communication nearly impossible. I've struggled to convey simple requests, and they consistently misunderstand. The scheduling process has been a nightmare. I've been sent in circles between video conferences, scheduling appointments, and receiving cancellation calls. They promise to email me, but I never receive any updates. The lack of organization and ineffective communication has wasted valuable time and caused unnecessary stress. I expect basic competence from a healthcare provider, especially when it comes to communication. Unless significant improvements are made, I would not recommend Atiga Family Practice to anyone.
Recommendation: Improve language proficiency, invest in better communication systems, and streamline scheduling processes to provide patients with a satisfactory experience.

Impossible to get anybody on the phone for anything. Leaving a voice mail does nothing either I guess, since I'm getting a bill for a "no show" that I have phone call records for calling for.

I won't get into personal affairs but I will say I don't understand the low ratings. Everytime I come here im welcomed and I feel comfortable and warm. Calling on the phone they take great care of me and address every concern and question I have. The staff is amazing and so sweet. The nurses are incredible nd make sure the take everything I have to say seriously. Started coming here five months ago after I had my son and I'm absolutely satisfied with the care I have received thank you to the entire staff for making me feel cared for and understood. You all genuinely care about your patients.

Experiencing difficulties in contacting the office, I had to leave multiple voicemails and make numerous calls without receiving a timely response. My diabetic mother urgently needs a new prescription, yet the Medical assistant's promises to follow up have proven unreliable. Despite assurances, I haven't received a call before the 2 PM closure, and my mother has now gone without medication for four weeks.

I have been a patient with Atiga for a long time. They have always been able to get me in for an appointment within a reasonable time frame. I have mostly been seen by NP's and they have all been Very professional and thorough. I have been seen in the Murrieta office and Menifee both offices are clean and the staff at each facility very nice. I am happy with the level of care. The only critic that I have is the time waiting to get test results is a bit long, if they were a bit more efficient in this area, I would give them 5 stars

I have come across many people that are unhappy with atiga. Rightfully so it's not Medical Care. I have reached out to some here so I decided to leave my information. I'm gathering up a group of us. I can be reached at
[email protected] There Is Power with knowledge there is power in numbers. Our health is more important than this practices doctor making 300 Grand a year. Let's Stand Together. Their behavior should be against the law.

The worst office staff I've ever encountered from a doctors office. They never answer the phone. And if you leave a message they never call you back. On one occasion, I called multiple times and left messages to reschedule an appointment. Never received a call back. Then I received a bill for a no show charge!! What a joke! I had to call about 20-30 times in a row before I finally got through to someone about the bill, and she acted like she could care less. I actually liked the doctor that I saw once, but the office staff is so incompetent that I'm switching doctors. Save yourself the headache and avoid this place.

Not helpful with getting paperwork done for my autistic daughter and completing documents for access to services for EFMP as we are new to the area. Refused multiple times which has delayed my daughter’s ABA referral process with our insurance. Do not recommend if you need help with filling out important docs as your primary care manager. Going elsewhere!

I was an established patient of Dr Atiga while pregnant. After delivering, I suspected a cervical prolapse and made an appointment. She scoffed at me when I voiced my concerns and said "that's really rare" and tried to convince me something else was wrong. When I insisted on an exam, she was surprised to find out I was right all along. I scheduled a telemedicine about altering a medication but their video chat wouldn't work so they wouldn't continue the appointment. They tried to get me to schedule another telemed which I declined as I didn't have confidence in their telemed system. I had to wait 3 weeks for my next chance at an appointment because their system failed. Later down the road I tried for over two weeks to get ahold of a medical assistant to inquire about a lab test. I called every other day and no one ever answered or got back to me, despite leaving messages every time. When I did finally get ahold of someone, there was no apology for their lack of responsiveness. My medical records took weeks to get and they're incorrect. I had hyperemisis my entire pregnancy but Atiga wrote in her notes that my "nausea had subsided". I'm very disappointed with their level of "care" and will absolutely not be returning.

I'm very disappointed in the quality, or lack of, care I received at this office over the years. They are completely negligent, do not answer the phone, despite calling every day, every hour for a week or longer. I have left messages as instructed, with zero calls back. They will not get back in touch with you to go over results of tests, and will not even call back if you finally get through and speak with their staff pleading for answers. If you are struggling with an ongoing issue, you are left to suffer and wonder what is wrong. My symptoms proceed to get worse, and I am left in the dark.I have finally switched to a new Dr. ( Dr. MICHAEL Basch) and am very happy to be able to actually reach the office when I'm in dire need to resolve my issues. Definitely try to change Drs if you are struggling with these issues. You should feel like your Drs advocate for your health and care. These Drs unfortunately do not. You're not a priority in any way at all.

The front desk personnel where thorough and informative. Once the nurse called my name and led me to the examine room she went to work and completed her task and shortly the doctor came in and met with me. My communication with the doctor was inclusive of my personal goals and his recommendations.
