I have been a member for over ten years with an average of $12,000 in checking. Recently I did a moble deposit and inadvertently signed a check that was in a family members name, but was sent to me from her insurance company. I signed the back of the check not realizing the check was made out to a family member with the same last name. I was sent a letter but never heard from a Coast representative with a copy of the check. I was banned from using mobile deposit banking. Went to a branch to explain my error, and was told there was nothing they could do to activate my mobile deposit account. The credit union banned me from using Mobile deposit banking indefinitely. Seriously? Don't believe the punishment fits the crime.Done with California coast credit union.

This banks custmer service is horrible! I walked in to open and account and the teller told me to have a seat. She could not assist me. I sat in the waiting area and 15 min later no one even looked in my direction. I got up and walked out. In the process, the teller just looked at me as if.... Well guess you did not need my business nor will I recommend your instiution. You just lost a serious client base

I am new to credit unions, but opening my account online with these people has been almost enjoyable! Angela, the lady who I was in contact with has been so helpful, replying promptly to my somewhat naive questions and in general an absolute delight to work with!

My son and I went in to open his first bank account. Mari was so helpful and sweet. Customer service here is great! They even have this nice gentleman opening the doors for us. I highly recommend this branch!

Started a loan with California Coast Inn the online form. Moved it to the Murietta Hot Springs branch in Marietta California. Had some paperwork issues with the dealer and the service was excellent in the branch with helping me formulate the sale of my car. Kristine is the loan supervisor who assisted me in preparing the documents and getting my new car as soon as possible. Thanks for the people at California Coast beer experience that could've been worse turning a great day. I recommend them highly

Mar Lisa is the Branch Manager. She is Always Kind & Thoughtful. Recently I was a victim of FRAUD! I talked with Mar Lisa about the FRAUDULENT company. Because this FRAUD took place in Russia & China Mar Lisa destroyed the ATM card that was compromised by these foreign countries. Mar Lisa put a Block on this ATM number. She was Thorough! She was Kind to me during this STRESSFUL time. Her Kindness was Much Appreciated.

Best banking decision we ever made was to switch to Cal Coast CU. This branch in particular has the best staff, very personable and caring. Fantastic rates, nice customer perks and easy to deal with - who wouldn't want to do business this way?!

CalCoast has had some good and helpful tellers (and a few others) over the years. They don't have safe deposit boxes but that's OK. My pet peeve is when bank's Web sites automatically link to unnecessary 3rd-party sites, to improve their page rank and monitor traffic for instance. CalCoast has recently started linking to GoogleAPIS, GoogleFonts, GoogleTagManager, and to a connection tracking site: mpeasylink.com. None of this is necessary. They can write their own scripts, provide their own fonts and host AWStats to track connections from their own servers. These unecessary connections put bank's interests ahead of the customers IF these connection are mandatory to sign in. You can block these other vendors and still log into Calcoast, which is still acceptable. Not everyone shares the bank's trust in these Web sites and once many firewalls see these other sites as allowed "related" connections, unless specifically prohibited in some way (ports, etc.), unfettered access is allowed thereafter as long as the connection is active. THAT IS DANGEROUS!
