Unreliable service, outdated software, uninteresting hardware you can get anywhere, for a price that anyone else can beat. Worse than the product itself though, are the 'management' in charge. The CEO, Neil Chan, while a smart businessman lacks any sense of emotional intelligence. Shady business practices might've helped you get ahead a generation ago but in the age of the internet, anything you do in darkness will come to light. You can only sell snake oil to investors for so long before they demand results, and a quick look at the public Igen Networks financials will show you there are none. I'm fine with scamming billionaire investors out of a couple million to keep the lights on, they won't notice it anyway. But to cheat employees out of well-earned pay that they use to feed their families is crossing the line. Imagine going to cash your paycheck to pay bills... and the check bounces. Threatening lawsuits to anyone who speaks out is not a good sign, either. An NDA only protects a company from so much. Then there's the general manager, Abel Sierra. There's a reason why most customers don't want to deal with him; no one enjoys being blatantly lied to. Being a salesman and a leader are two wildly different things. "Just following orders" may be an acceptable excuse in the military, but not in society. Seeing something that's wrong and doing nothing about it, let alone enforcing it, makes you just as guilty. History has proven this, hasn't it? Someone who's too afraid to stand up for their own team isn't fit for a leadership role. The tech support and fulfillment staff are great, and are doing the best with the limited amount they have to work with. They genuinely want to help you with any issues you'll experience (likely to be a few). To give you an idea of what this company is like... they sang me happy birthday and gave me a cake, and the very next day had my final check waiting for me, after 5 years of hard work, without warning or notice. Checkout any of their reviews, be it on social media or in the app store, and you'll find similar experiences. Hopefully, my review helps someone from making a poor decision by associating with this company and those that run it. I do not recommend.
