I recently had the sad experience of having to conclude the life of my elderly dog. When my usual vet was unable to give me a timely appointment, they referred me to Doctor's Pet Clinic. I was nervous and uneasy about taking her to a new vet but as it turns out my fears were groundless. Though we had never visited before, my dog was treated with genuine love and care which enabled her to make a graceful final transition. Even though I was an emotional wreck, the staff handled the procedure thoughtfully and with respect for my loss. This was my only experience with this clinic but I am grateful for their professional and compassionate service that day.

On behalf of TAO my cat and I, We are forever grateful to Dr.Goulet and all the wonderful staff (especially Casey), that made the journey possible to obtain Taos international passport to Panama a Total Breeze. All documentation was accepted at the Panamanian Embassy perfectly. I was told that Flying with a cat (according to many)is a nightmare, but Tao did Beyond Amazing!! Made me so Proud. He behaved PERFECTLY. (I even forgot the sedation at home). Im guessing that the Feliway spray helped a lot. When we arrived to Panama they stated Very rarely are the pets H and P so thorough and Everything was done perfectly!!!This entire process was no doubt super stressful and we couldn’t have done it without You All.A Thousand Words cannot suffice our Gratitude.Thank you againDenise R and TAO

I waited a few weeks to write this review, I do want to say Dr Koorhan was very good to my babies. However Dr. GURLAY just wanted to get as much money from you as she could.Very greedy lady. She even chargered me three times the amount for the same meds, same amount of pills as Dr Koorhan did six months earlier. Don't get your meds there get a paper Prescription so u can get it some where else. MY MEDS COST ALMOST 70. dollars when I could have gotten them at chewy for 20. dollars. PLEASE USE Caution before using this vet.

We are so grateful for the loving and personal, professional and world class care we received from the Doctor’s Pet Clinic on Hancock in Murrieta, CA the past three years for our two older boxer littermates -a female and male, who the past year had to be put to sleep at 12 and 13 respectively . We had moved from Mission Viejo where they had excellent care for their first 10 years.Veterinary appointments were a challenge during that 2020 COVID year necessitating a local vet change. Doctors Goulet and Brown were excellent in diagnosing and cost-effectively treating their heart, cancer and gastro issues that gave the dogs we loved so much, three more years of happy lives. The staff of Kimmy, Yuri, Casey, Cassidy and others could not have shown more sincere concern for all of us. Thank you very much for all that you did for our family these past few years.

When care is measured out in minutes, that's not care. Punishing a sick animal for the owner's tardy arrival isn't the work of compassion and empathy. Pet parents love just as fully and deeply as do parents of their own offspring. The stress of watching one's pet or child suffer through an illness is no different. Ignoring a critical need is not an acceptable way of building trust or confidence. This makes me so thankful for my dog's vet. I'm glad I don't have to go to Doctors Pet Clinic.

03/30/2023RE:When care is measured out in minutes, that's not care.1) We live 2+ hours away from your office2) We used to always make that drive for Leevi because you were the one he didn't hate3) The rain was very bad yesterday.4) There were multiple car accidents en route5) I advised the office prior to finalizing the appt that we are far away and it will be a track to make it there.6) We had our sick dog in the car and trying not to CRASH an route in the rain.Given all these extenuating circumstances:Punishing a sick animal for the owner's tardy arrival isn't the work of compassion and empathy.Your office manager inciting me was inappropriate and disrespectful. Her incendiary ridicule and malicious comment "If your gonna be one of 'those' people..."Excuse me?? "Those people" The optics that there's a atmosphere of a superiority complex and racist undertones is palpable. To imply malevolently that I don't care about other appointments behind ours was some next level evil.As a healthcare professional myself- I have shown compassion and empathy for other patients before or after me & my animals.I have given my place in appointment MANY times so that the person who needed to be seen before me could. When my patients need a little more time or what ever is needed, I work tirelessly to ensure the safety, care, compassion, and protection to ALL the patients I serve. If it means staying a bit late after work, so be it- its about the patients and not monetary gain. Its called empathy. Try it out. Not everything needs to be railroaded on track. Pet parents love just as fully and deeply as do parents of their own offspring. The stress of watching one's pet or child suffer through an illness is no different. Ignoring a critical need is not an acceptable way of building trust or confidence. It was not escalated to an emergency yet.It evolved into a life threatening illness when her care was delayed by an additional 6 hours. You are not the same person I knew or Leevi knew.I'm beyond sickened by what you have become.I know that there will be no closure in regards to this incident and you trying to have a battle of attrition is futile. There is no reconciliation for this. This is over and our patient/Provider relationship is this permanently dissolved.Trust me when I state this: Every one I know that I have EVER refered to you will be notified of this and advised to avoid your practice.03/29/2023 Dr. Goulet was a great veterinarian. Too bad she moved to this location. The office staff is abysmal (and that's being generous ).Our dog was extremely sick.Long story short- if you are going to be late for your appointment, do NOT expect any compassion, empathy, or reasoning what so ever. They subjected our dog to delayed care and additional pain and suffering. If this was a non animal medical office, they would be facing malpractice charges. The office manager is a demon sent straight from hell. Please, save your animal pain and suffering and AVOID this place at all cost.Go to Butterfield animal hospital or VCA.

The staff is super friendly, educated, and quick to help/answer questions. They always answer the phone quickly. They helped my chonky tuxedo cat with a cystotomy and the prices are really fair. This will be my go-to vet from now on. Thank you so much for helping my chungus. :D He's a lot happier now, and definitely in much less pain.

Dr Koorhan is the best vet in the IE. Unfortunately, she sold the business to Dr. Gurlay and it is NOT the same!! Money money money before they’ll even see your pet!!! Unnecessary tests, and no definitive answers. Such a shame. But not the worst part. Lindsay, the “office manager” is the most unprofessional, rudest, most dismissive person I’ve ever experienced and should NEVER be allowed to work with animals or concerned pet owners. The most uncompassionate person in the field!! I’d tell you her last name but they refused to give it to me saying they would be fired if they told me her last name…..hmmmmm, interesting that they can’t disclose a person’s name. Avoid this money hungry business and especially Lindsay!!

Came in because my dog has tumors on that ruptured and started bleeding so horribly on her stomach and they did absolutely nothing Besides give me a huge bill and look at me with a smile. They couldn't administer any kind of antibiotic or bandage couldn't even dress the wound or apply gauze. They took my money offered no assistance. If you are looking for your pet to be cared for, do not come here. They will not help you at all !!!

Wow!!! There still are very special people in this world and Dr. Goulet is one of them for sure!! Our pets have been patients of another major vet off of Temecula Parkway for the past 14 years...ever since they were in a smaller location. Well the past few times we have needed medical attention, they turned us away saying they were too busy without even asking questions. They sent us to an emergency clinic which is an entirely different story that I would prefer not to get into. By some miracle we were referred to Doctors Pet clinic! Our 2 Golden Retrievers had digested a corn cob and both needed urgent surgery. Dr. Goulet and her entire staff went so far above and beyond we are almost at a loss for words. She fit us in when she was extremely busy, and performed 2 surgeries with little notice. Her price was extremely fair (a fraction of what the emergency vet wanted to charge us) and most importantly the care they got was the best of the best. Hoping for a speedy recovery.Dr. Goulet - my wife, 4 daughters and I cannot thank you enough for what you did for us this week. You are amazing and so is your entire staff. Thank you for everything!

I have been bringing our dogs to Dr. Koohren for over 25 years now. She and Dr. Goulet really care about the animals they treat. The staff at Doctors Pet Clinic are just the best. Kimmy always provides amazing customer service and all of the staff are so kind & helpful!
