I haven't had this much peace of mind when handing my dog to a health care facility in 15 years. Old Town Vet Hospital is exceptionally clean, with a very warm atmosphere. The entire staff is friendly and gentle with my pet. The doctors and aides are well trained. experienced and compassionate. 10 stars

I was really happy with practice at first until my 12 year old cat became ill. I was an established client but they would not see him. They said they were too busy. I said I would wait for hours if they could just see him. They wouldn't. I ended up having to go to VCA which I was trying to avoid. My beautiful cat had to be euthanized. I currently have a 14 year old dog with heath problems. They have been seeing him for awhile but I'm going to research other veterinarians in my area as he needs ongoing care. My pets are my family. I was very disappointed in Old Towne.

We've been coming here for years. They've always been thorough, knowledgeable, and oh-so-sweet to our dogs throughout the years. We also appreciate the email reminders of when it's time to update vaccinations. Keep up the great work!

Dr. Giam is amazing. Our Rocket boy loves her. She is so knowledgeable and caring. I cant say enough good things about her. Such a great experience for our furbaby....

I took my little dog to the Old Town Veterinary Hospital on Kalmia Street Murrieta today for an emergency. I got to this office at 1:50 pm Tuesday the 1st November. My little baby was lethargic, didn't want to eat, had very bad breath, and pooping out black diarrhea staining with blood. I explained all that to the 2 receptionists at the counter. There was not any other patient in the lobby except me and my dog. First the receptionist told me I had to have an appointment because the doctors only see patients with appointment, secondly I will have to pay $85 for the office visit if the doctor is going to see us. Then, the receptionist disappeared to the back for about 5 minutes and came back to tell me that whoever the doctor in the back would not want to see my little dog because he/she was the only one in the office. I was completely disappointed at the answer. I was thinking to myself, what kind of moral is this. It is clearly a matter of life and death for my little baby, and being a doctor, anyone would make themselves available for emergency needs and give care for the sick and comfort the families. I was completely taken aback by the response of that doctor. And worst of all, there was not a single other patient in the office at that time. I certainly will not want to bring my pets back to that office again, ever.
