November 2023 by Julie Baum
We have taken our 2 small Yorkies to Pet Wellness Center ever since we adopted them in November 2022. The staff, techs and doctors are super friendly, and provide comprehensive information. We feel like the staff, techs and doctors really care. The communication is awesome. I get reminders and follow up by text and email. They also offer an app that is fantastic. Highly recommend this Veterinarian Office.

Took our kitty there after going to another vet the previous day and being told he had crystals and rods in his urine and the vet prescribed him antibiotics but he wasn't improving so we took him to Pet Wellness center. Dr. Fang was very kind and explained everything to us very well, he told us there was no need for antibiotics and he had no rods in his urine. He explained he had a blockage and his bladder was 3x it's regular size. He talked over all our options and different treatment plans we could go with. After a few days of hospitalization our kitty is doing so good and he's just as lively as he was before he got sick. The staff and doctor were so kind and accommodating during the rough few uncertain days. They followed up with us after he was released to make sure he was doing ok. They really seem to care here, I would definitely recommend this vet to anyone, especially in emergency.

Every time we make the trek down to Pet Wellness, it's worth it. They're kind to George (and to me) and take the time to explain what's going on, answer any questions I have, or go over options if there are any. This time, the AC in my car went out on the hour+ drive down, on a 96° day. They made sure we had a cool room, and brought us both water. There wasn't much they could do for me, but they packed ice packs onto the side pockets of George's carrier and put one underneath it for the drive home so he wouldn't get overheated again. He was cool and comfortable the whole way home.

Very professional, caring and friendly staff. The staff does a wonderful job making the facility as stress free as anyone could possibly make it for everyone. I was also very happy with the doctor that saw my two girls. She was very through and took the time to explain everything she recommended and all my options. I could definitely tell that she cares and loves what she does. Which made me comfortable with her and go with all of her recommendations. I definitely will continue to take my girls to be treated at pet wellness center.

We have been with Pet Wellness Center for several years now and can say we are blessed to have them looking after our fur babies. The staff is very friendly, professional, and you can tell they really care about your pets. We have seen a few of the Vet's and have liked each one we've had. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Dr Ross and his team are the only people I’ve trusted with our pets. The care, concern, compassion, honesty and knowledge they have for animals is in my opinion beyond any other Veterinary services in the valley. I refer Pet Wellness to anyone I know with animals and pets.

Bummed they aren’t the vet office I thought they were, this is long so bear with me.It starts with my first visit, I brought my dog in for a rabies shot, general check up and a consult for a spay. It was over 100 degrees outside and they won’t let you inside until they feel like it so I stood outside looking into the empty lobby waiting for “my turn”. I understand this is for all animals safety but it was absolutely empty in there and the lobby is large so it feels unnecessary. The exam was ok, my dog was antsy so it wasn’t as thorough as I would have hoped. Then they took her for her rabies shot and brought her back to me a few minutes later with her leg all wrapped up. Then I was told “we went ahead and took blood while we had her back there”, since I didn’t authorize that they said “we can not send it off and you won’t have to pay for it but we will have to do it again before her spay”. I paid for it so my poor dog wouldn’t have to have blood work done again. The vet called me a few days later and said her blood work was good and I could schedule the surgery. I scheduled the surgery for September 6th and was quoted just under $600 for the procedure. Fast forward to about 3 weeks before her spay she started acting strange, I called pet wellness and explained her behavior and they were able to confirm over the phone what I thought was happening; an infection called pyometra. I ended up taking her to a different vet the next day where they did X-rays and an ultrasound, the confirmed it was a mild case of pyometra and gave me 2 weeks worth of antibiotics to help clear the infection. I was told to have the surgery within those two weeks and during that time it should be more like a regular spay. So I called pet wellness again and shared this information to see if they could still see her. The woman on the phone said “great news, bring her in a week and the doctor will do it during urgent care hours but not charge urgent care prices”, since I already had the quote for the spay I assumed it would be similar. Leading up to the surgery I called several times to ask questions and then the day before I went to get medication to give her prior to her drop off.Day of the surgery I was told to drop her off at 3pm. I got there about 2:55, called to check in and was told someone would be right out. 3:15 still no one had come out. 3:30 I got a call that they were “ready to bring her in for an exam”. I explained I was just dropping her off for surgery and not an exam. She said they need an exam done to give me a quote so I told her I had a quote from previously and she said “this is an urgent surgery and you’re looking at $2000 minimum”. So I left.A few days later my doorbell rings and it’s a uniformed officer there to do a wellness check on my dog. Pet wellness center reported that I denied my dog life saving care and left with a dying dog. The officer laughed when he saw my healthy, happy dog. They NEVER even saw my dog. They left me sitting in the parking lot and went only off what they assumed. My dog has since been spayed by an honest office and I’ll never look back at pet wellness center.Picture of my pup sitting in the parking lot of pet wellness the day I “left with a dying dog”.

Thank you so much to everyone at the Murrieta Pet Wellness Center especially Dr. Edward Fang! My dog, Yogi has had so many medical issues and problems throughout his life and it has been a big struggle finding the right medical care for him. But one night when he was particularly ill, Dr. Fang gave him the care he needed and we are so grateful. Every single time we come here, Yogi has had very thorough procedures and treatment from people who you can tell love their jobs and the animals they care for. Thank you so much Pet Wellness Center! Thank you Dr. Fang!

We took out senior long hair Chihuahua for the first time to Pet Wellness Center and had a great experience. The nurse and the Vet took their time with us explaining all of our concerns, options and prices. They were honest and very transparent, they didn’t try to sell.

I cannot say enough kind things about the staff and the Dr. Who treated our puppy last night. Being an after hours visit, including anesthesia and stitches and take home meds, the bill fell well under $500. Amazing. Five star service. Compassionate. And we were even thanked for allowing them to help our puppy. Not that I ever want to need such services again, but as a pet parent it is inevitable. This will be the first place I go to in the future.

My dog was treated here after being hit by a car. He was treated with kindness, and the nurses were very careful with him. Dr. Fang came out and explained diagnosis and treatment. Prices are very comparable with most places. My dog had no broken bones or bleeding, but he was in tremendous pain. Thank you, Dr. Fang for giving my poor dog the right strong pain meds he needed.

The staff at Pet Wellness Center are amazing!!! The nurses and doctors took amazing care of my dog, Rosie, reassured us and kept us informed throughout the whole process. I also appreciate the follow up calls checking on my pet from both the nurse and the dr. himself in the days following her visit. I would absolutely recommend their business to anyone!
