Lauren is an artist. She is wonderful, with a special gift for conversation and communication. At a different salon, 6 weeks ago I went from very long hair to a short layered cut. As it grew out I could see it was a bad cut. Lauren took the bad and made it beautiful !!! She thoroughly explained everything she needed to do and was conservative in her approach, which I appreciated. She even took time to teach me about different types of hair rollers. I walked out extremely pleased and have booked another appointment with her already. Thank you so very much Lauren!

Great location. Clean establishment. The stylist Lauren Haug was the best part! I have been looking for a stylist for a while and have failed until now. Lauren is the best I’ve had in years! I highly recommend her. Her prices are reasonable. Her work is the best and her personality is great! I can’t say enough good things about her! 10 out of 10 would recommend!!!

I currently live in Connecticut but every time I go to California I get my hair done at Sleek &
Shear Salon. I always leave feeling pretty after a haircut with Mayra, she always listen to what I want, and even offers some great suggestions that are perfect for my hair type and face shape. The salon is beautiful, clean, and has a great atmosphere.
I will definitely be coming back to her from now on!!

I stopped in as a new customer today and was pleasantly surprised. I was met by the owner/stylist Tamilyn.
The shop is beautiful, very inviting, and the staff was so friendly.
My color and cut was exceptional. I will definitely be a returning customer.

I got my hair done in September before my trip to Croatia and can’t believe I didn’t leave a review! I was/am so happy with the results and the level of attention to detail Tamilyn gave me when she was doing my hair. As a stay at home mom it was really important for me to have a hairstyle that doesn’t need too much upkeep but still looks beautiful. I feel SO good after Tamilyn worked her magic with my hair and I’ll definitely be coming back for more! Not to mention the salon was gorgeous, I felt very comfy there 🤍 Thank you SO much for giving me a hairstyle that makes me feel good and confident 🤍

My daughter and I just moved to the area, we were able to get a same day appt and Mayra and Tamilyn were great!! We will definitely be back! My hair feels and looks so good! My daughter got a trim, Tamilyn really took her time and her hair came out great!

I had a few visits. I overheard the ladies tell each other that I was overcharged by my stylist who worked on her own hair while working on mine. My hair color at the roots ended up a few shades darker than the rest of my hair. Her mother told me I was ready for Halloween when she saw the job her daughter provided. I never went back.

It was a disaster! I showed a picture of what haircut I’d like and lo and behold it’s not even close! At first, both sides were not even. One side was shorter than the other. Second, it was completely different from the picture. She ruined my hairstyle! Never again will I go back there. It was a waste of money!
Stylist: The stylist just took one look at the picture I brought for the hairstyle that I wanted and she said “oh that’s pretty yeah I can do that.” Uhm no she couldn’t.

I have been seeing Tamilyn for years and have always been so happy with how my hair turns out. She listens and is super respectful of what you want to do with your hair. I even bring my kiddos. The salon is super cute, clean, and I never have to wait. Best salon around!
