The worst storage facility ever. They had a water leak in my unit from the rains. Did nothing other than told me to call insurance. Never offered me a new unit, nothing. In fact they said we will fix the leak, but never did. Went back by after the next rain storm and lo and behold my unit was flooded again. I have mold and my belongings are trashed. When I spoke with the branch manager she was rude and condescending. She offered zero help not even a refund of any kind. I left a message for the district manager and got no return call. I suppose I’ll have to file a lawsuit to gain compensation for their breach of contract, my damaged belongings, and all the stress they have caused myself and family. Stay far far away

Cube smart in Murrieta is the worst single experience I've had in my life. I rented two storage units one of which had a roof leak and ruined my belongings. After trying to reach an on-site employee I was told nobody staffs this location. I finally spoke to a district manager who told me to call the insurance which I did and have been dealing with them since May. It has continued to leak every single time there is any rain. I have not been offered a new storage unit nothing. Deanna or Gina the location branch manager is rude, condescending, and tried to say we went by and saw no signs of a leak.... Besides my stuff covered in mold. Mild on the ground, but guess she doesn't care. I am at the point of filing a lawsuit against this horrible company. As a 100% disabled veteran with LPSD and anxiety it is exasperating my disabilities and I can't take much more. Awful!!!!! Run away from this horribly ran business.

The entire process of renting, moving in and moving out is very smooth. The Cal Oaks staff is very helpful and the Monroe facility is always clean and looks safe.

Stay away. Your rent will increase sky high, way above new incoming rates. Terrible customer service if you can even get some. Unfriendly staff. Just save yourself the grief. Go to Temecula Self Storage for great service and WAY lower rent. We went from $478 down to $220 for the same size unit 10x30!!

They CONSTANTLY raise your rent!! Over $100 per month bit by bit in a one year period. Customer service will tell you the complete opposite that the staff in the office does about policies. We finally had enough and are changing to a better site. Same size 10 x 30 $478 down to $220!!!!! Go elsewhere!! They don't care about their customers at all. We went to Temecula Self Storage, what a difference. Smiles kindness and no rip off!!!

I have reserved a unit, drove 3 hours and when I came to the storage there was no one in the office. They didn't come and couldn't even help on the phone either. And it was on weekday.

gate is a one way entrance doesn't open when you leave. If you place a phone call very unlikely someone will return your call

You should avoid this place. Bait and switch all the way. We rented a unit that was close to a doorway to the interior units for convenience, When we signed up our rate was locked in.A month into renting, the doors accessing the interior units were all locked. I had to call for a door code to get into the building far away from my unit, and was forced to walk through long pitch-black hallways. When I was able to open the door near my unit, they disabled any way to keep it open for loading. They also increased my bill without warning. When I called to address this, a lady claiming to be the general manager at my location responded by saying "Maybe you should move". So I did.This was in Murrieta California, Monroe Ave.
