Tried wire transfer money from my account to the title company! Wouldn't go thru because the bank balance would fall below $5k!! Tried several times. Called the bank and it was "so sad to bad"!!! Had to drive 200 miles round trip to get a cashiers check

***AVOID THIS BRANCH AT ALL COST*** I went here yesterday to do a simple transaction (cash withdrawal). The teller named Wendy Creason was extremely rude. The manager Patricia Ellis saw the whole interaction and did not do anything to contain the situation.

Been with Citi for many years. Sorry to hear Patty is gone but confident team will step up to the challenge. There are many seniors in this community and we frequently need a bit of help to keep up with changes; IMHO of course ! Thomas B.

Have done all of my banking online or by phone with Citibank for 31 years. Had a recent transaction and was told it had to be done in a branch. I had the serious misfortune of walking into the Trancas street branch office where the teller (evidently the same redheaded woman others have complained about here) was completely unfriendly and seemed bothered that I approached her station. Without even a "hello" she asked what "what can I do for you?" and before I could finish explaining she interrupted me to say "I can't assist you with that here." She redirected me to a personal banker who was casually chatting with a client. Even though the personal banker, a older blonde woman, saw the rude redheaded teller direct me to her and we even made eye contact with met, she didn't bother to acknowledge that I was waiting or say something like, "I'll be with you in a moment." There were ZERO other customers in the bank (now I know why) so I turned back to another teller as if to say "can anyone help me here?" but she and the rude redheaded teller just chatted amongst themselves. After a 15+ minute wait without ANY update or a simple "thanks for waiting," my 6 year-old son and I left. I'm super patient and never write negative reviews but these employees have NO business being in customer service. I came on Yelp to write this review and was not the least bit shocked that others had the same experience. Evidently rude and poor quality service have been going on here for several years. There may be some good employees at this branch but none were to be found on the day I visited. Horrible.

Be forewarned. If you have a Citibank Costco card and get a bill in the mail and go to a branch, they will not accept cash payment. Nobody knows what the reason for this ridiculous policy is and the standard answer is "to prevent money laundering". Currency has printed on it "legal tender for all debts public and private". How long will it be before some smart person sues Citibank for this policy and they will have to settle or go to court for determination. Now if you go to make a payment, you can use your Citibank debit card in the ATM. You do not need a pin. You can make a cash payment. This month I have a total bill of $55.95. My alternative is to place my card in the ATM, go to 'make a payment' put in $56.00 and get the receipt. You can also use a personal check on another bank to do this. The extra amount will show in the form of a credit. So if you have an oddball figure you have to go up to the next dollar amount. The machine does not make change if you pay over the amount. You have to wait till the next bill for it to show. More and more banks will not take cash money for deposit to another's account. If little Tiffany in Florida has a Chase or a Citibank account and you want to subsidize her cocktailing and swimming lessons, you will not be able to send her money by making a deposit. When in trouble, when in doubt, go to Safeway, money orders are $1.00 for up to $500. Or go to the USPO and buy a money order there. Guard them and use them carefully. And Citibank GFY !

Citibank refused to take my cash payment for my Costco Citibank credit card. I was asked if I had an account, no. If I had made a cash payment before, no. I would have to fill out paperwork in order to make payment. A bank refusing to take cash payment on their credit card RIDICULOUS!!

First of all I don't write a lottery news but this one I had to do a cannot let it go I want to Citibank in Napa and though I don't know her name it was a lady with the red hair all the way at the at the end there was nobody in the bank yet she did not give us service where we stood there in the front of the line but at least five minutes then proceeded to say how can I help you and not even look at us when we came up to I told her that I had expired card from their branch wanted to get issued a new card and pull out some money. She told me the card expired I can't help you and then started doing what she was doing before he helped us he said have a nice day and completely ignored it will not help us give us any advice This is why I don't bank with city if it wasn't for my company card I would never affiliate with them because I can't even train their employees correctly to have some decent time and courtesy or any level of customer service or respect i've had better customer service from people Very people at the DMV Although I stopped at Brenda's desk on the way out she helped us as much as she could with the problem that we had on hand although we cannot get the funds out of the account because of a technical error on my company side but the other teller didn't even bother to check she actually treated with some common decency Took some time to talk to the city bank representative that I had on the phone I would give her a five star review any person with that much talent should be should be working at a place that does not show customers the common decency respect or even be affiliated with that because I'm sure she can get a job at a better place and hopefully her work environment including employees that she works with would be more pleasant When is all said and done the lady with the red hair at the far end of the teller counter has no soul even on Halloween she stood out cannot believe how I was treated at this bank Way to earn peoples business

I opened an account online and was having problems so I called the toll free number and they told me to go to a branch. I called this branch and only had a few questions but the lady was talking over me and was dismissive. I went to the branch to hopefully straighten out my banking problems and they told me they couldn't help me. The same lady I talked to on the phone (assuming she's a manager) was telling the teller assisting me to make sure to verify my identity. I felt insulted and didn't fell welcome in this bank. I get that identity theft is alive and well but she could have used a little tact in her approach. The (assumed) manager and teller didn't offer to help/make suggestions with my problem which I believed was easily correctable. I was essentially dismissed even though the phone operator told me to go there.

The tellers at Citibank are extremely rude! We were helped by Wendy Creason she was so mean. Don't bank with them. This bank needs to work on their customer service!

This is an update to my review about Citibank not paying me my $400 bonus. They finally paid after 3 phone calls and 3 online chats. They still have not credited my boyfriend's account but we are now more hopeful.

Rude tellers, unresponsive manager, and WTF, they are only open from 10-5 Monday through Friday? When are working people supposed to come here? I shouldn't have to go to work late or leave work early to do my banking in person. Avoid the curly redheaded lady if you don't want to have your day ruined. Better yet, avoid this branch if you don't want your day ruined. Just bank elsewhere. Always a very frustrating experience. If you try to tell the manager that, she just says "These are the policies Citibank gives us."
