“Amazing example of Streamline Moderne style buildngs from the late 1930s and was Napas first drive-in shopping center. The building used to be a market before being abandoned. They are in process of resto-modding it into a new food hall and market which I'm sure will be a huge hit when complete. The original signage was discovered in the building and is now back on the tower outside. Love how they are preserving as much as they can respectfully while upgrading necessarily to modernize. The design work is by Architect Kelly + Morgan and even though it's currently still WIP you can visit and have a peek before it starts getting crazy busy once its complete. Worth a fast 5-10 minute stop if you are into architecture.”
