This review covers both locations on Villa lane and 1100 Trancas. I despise coming here but i have to every two months because i had cancer.
I had appointment for today 12/24 at 2:30. I made an appointment and it was confirmed. I arrived to 1100 trancas to a piece of paper on the door saying they closed at 11:30. I get no one wants to work on xmas eve, but i also dont want to be here on xmas eve. I dont want to have cancer and get poked by these inaccurate knock-off phlebotomists. But it was the only day this week before a holiday trip to see family, and I’m currently having concerning symptoms and was told by doctor to get labs. Now I will wait 6 anxious days to be able to get back here and deal with it.
They have had so many staffing issues. I have showed up to villa lane in the past before - same situation, to just find no one there at 3 o clock. Then if you go to the other location and say hey i had an appointment but they were closed, they still wont help you because you didnt have an appointment at THEIR location. No care or empathy.
I’ve watched lots of the employees be condescending and impatient with elderly folks struggling to figure out the automated check-in system, or if they had questions about billing.
A few of the employees you can just tell are cancerous to the business. Every once in a while you can get a nice one, but i never see them for long. I will soon be switching to Quest because I have had too many negative experiences here. Both of these locations are hanging on by a thread, if you can get your orders sent to any other lab in town, you should do that.

Worst experience.Bad staff.
I came to this location four times, all because if one matter, and every time they have a new ruling. If you ask them for help or guidance, they don’t. They're very unprofessional, for a Lab they should offer all services at any time, that is the whole point of a lab. And when i get there they require all kinds of extra documents. Again do not recommend these people. very rude

I was totally shocked yesterday at the unprofessionalism I witnessed at Labcorp. Although I had an an appointment, and my doctor had sent over lab request a few days earlier, they insisted they did not have it. I waited over an hour, doctor faxed over request again, but they still insisted they never received it. Appalling!!!

Didn't get any actual tests here but at another location. I can say the customer service is bad. Phone and in-person had a bad experience. I only like to write reviews for places I like and want to support but this one needs some attention. Something to note, I had an excellent experience in the other location so this is no something I believe to be across locations.

Smoothest Labcorp experience ever. Despite being busy they had 2 people checking folks in, 3 or so people drawing blood, and they were calling another person back every 1-2 minutes. Quick and friendly service!

I understand why some people think this is the worse lab ever. Their management needs to update their website and the signage on their door to prevent confusion and misleading information. I arrived here yesterday as a walk in for an employment drug screen, only to find out that the walk in is only from 8am-10am. But the signage and their website says “8am-11am”. So everybody may think they can walk in even after 10am.
The lady by the window explained that the 10am-11am is only for people who has an appointment. So I understand it and I kindly suggested for them to make a note that says “Walk ins are only accepted until 10am”
It would be helpful especially for people who are far from Napa.
Other than that I am giving them 4 stars only since I am also one of those people who are misled but the workers are great to me.
So for people going here, if you are doing an employment drug testing, you can’t walk in after 11am or before 8am.

This is the second time I've had a terrible experience with this place. This is the closest location from my residence in Vacaville. Online and on-site it states drug screens are from 0800-1100. I walk in and the employee states it's from 0800-1000 and continued to lie stating it's posted on their site. Not to mention the hours are also posted on their door stating 0800-1100. I am a healthcare worker myself and I would never treat the patients the way they do. This is ridiculous and I'm sick of the terrible customer service. Get another job outside of healthcare, please! :)

I couldn't get an appointment within the window I needed for my job, so I had to come in during the 2 hour walk-in window. I was seen incredibly promptly and the lab employees were very kind and patient, even when I had to wait around because I couldn't make myself pee. I sat there for an incredibly long time (my fault, not theirs) and saw person after person served politely and promptly despite some people giving them attitude for just doing their jobs. When I FINALLY felt like I could give a sample, I let them know and was helped again almost immediately. They even came and checked in on me in the lobby twice to make sure I knew I hadn't been forgotten. Great team, and they undoubtedly deserve way more respect than they're given. I'd come back here again in a heartbeat.

I went in skeptical because of the reviews at first, but it was not bad at all. My appointment was at 1:15 PM. In and out, and the whole ordeal took me less than 10 minutes. Amazing!

The most ridiculous check-in process I've ever seen. A very cumbersome 4-step process: 1. Check in at a Kiosk. 2. Wait for text message in order to go wait for name to be called. 3. After name is called, check in again at desk with admin person. 4. Have a seat and wait for name to be called by lab tech.
They need to eliminate 2 steps in this process.

I have been using this lab twice monthly for over two years. I am very surprised by negative reviews. Never have I seen rude behavior from the staff. Far from it. The staff members are kind, respectful and incredibly efficient. Recently they have been impacted by the closure of the Queen labs but still they maintain a very positive attitude even when they get extremely busy. And I get results in 24 hours every time. I went to Quest for many years and they are good but not as good as the Labcorp staff. If you pre schedule you get a bar code for quick and easy checkin or you can check in from your phone when you arrive. Please be more understanding as to what this staff has to provide for so many guests.

I had an appointment there yesterday. As someone who works in the healthcare field, I truly felt bad for the staff at this lab. It's such a small building and there were SO many customers coming though the door (and no where to sit). The staff was doing their best given the situation and were doing a great job with multitasking, being efficient, and trying to help everyone all at the same. They were all kind (with a smile on their face) and never showed any frustration even though I know I would be if I worked there as it seems quite stressful. I was taken back on time both times I was there yesterday (I had a glucose tolerance test and had to be retested again in an hour). Keep up the great work ladies! I would certainly go back, but make sure to make an appointment - it will help you and the staff for everything to run smoothly.

If you can avoid this lab, DO IT. Going to a different lab like Sutter in Fairfield or Vallejo is WORTH THE DRIVE! Every time I’ve used Labcorp in Napa, there’s only like 2 employees working. Add to the equation that if you go before 11am, there’s always *at least* 20 people waiting because this is the lab in the area that offers urine drug tests for employment. So expect a wait even if you have an appointment and be prepared to stand since there’s very limited seating too. Also be aware that making an appointment only secures your spot in line, it doesn’t mean you’ll be seen at that time or even close to your appointment time.Today I had an appointment at 8:45am for a 2 hour glucose test. I’ve never had this type of test done so I didn’t know what to expect other than to be prepared to stay for 2 hours. I arrived at 8:44am since the instructions I received said to arrive on time (nothing about arriving 15 minutes early etc., just that if I arrived 15 minutes late I’d be considered a walk-in). When I arrived, there was a lady struggling to check in. So I helped guide her through the check-in process, which is via a kiosk. Note there is no assistance offered to patients who are not tech savvy. Anyways, I ended up checking in 10 minutes late. Then after waiting until 9:30am, I was told they would not be able to see me because 8:45am was the latest time I could arrive for this type of test. I explained that I did arrive on time but had a late check-in because I was helping one of their patients check-in. She then lied to me and said the lady who checked in before me checked in a minute after 8:45, which isn’t true because I checked in right after her and was about 10 minutes late.Either way, I explained that my appointment was set for 8:45 and I received no notice or instructions that 8:45 was the latest time I could arrive, again the email I received after registering said to arrive on-time but no later than 15 minutes after. The lady had a rude tone and responded, “You weren’t aware that you had a 2 hour test?”My point was that I scheduled the appointment correctly for a fasting glucose test and I did not receive these instructions whatsoever. My options were to continue fasting and come back at 12pm as a walk-in or the next morning as a walk-in. I left right after to the Sutter Lab in Fairfield and was seen immediately, with no issues or wait plus friendly receptionists :)Also to note, I have gone to other Labcorp locations with no issues but this Labcorp location specifically is by far the most unorganized, under staffed, and ridiculously slow/busy. Avoid at all costs if possible!
