Stayed here overnight in March 2025. Attended a show at Uptown Theatre just around the corner. Location was excellent, and I appreciate the option to stay in accommodations that aren’t a $350+ per night Victorian inn… friendly reception upon check in and check out. Heater kept the room warm. Bed was comfortable. I arrived later in the day so parking was limited in the hotel lot (small, first come first serve, maybe a dozen and change spaces (16?) but parking down the street was easy. It was the weekend but the public lot is free all day parking. Location is the best part, second best is the value.
Walkability: 10/10

This is a motel not a hotel. The room is very dirty. Obvious stains on some sheets, stains in the toilet, window is broken, knob fell off in shower, tv remote is sticky, walls are paper thin, and soap is the worst I have ever used. Pretty good location.

We stayed at the end of Octover 2024. The location was great, very close to everything downtown. The room we were given was clearly not cleaned with a black ring around the toilet bowl, water splatter on the mirror, hair in the bathtub and the floor needing vacuuming. I inquired about cancelling the reservation and was told that needed to be done 7 days prior. The cleaner did come in and clean the room for us.
As we were settling in for the night the TV would not work. Two employees came to the room to fix it. In the middle of the night our TV audio went on by itself with no picture. I turned it off and went back to sleep. A couple of hours later the same thing happened, TV audio is playing with no picture waking us from our sleep. When we returned to our room after a day out, once again the TV audio was playing with no picture. We finally turned the TV audio to zero so we would not hear it when it happened again.
Their stairway was very dark, I missed a step and fell the first day. My friend did the same the second day.
We got the hotel at a decent price. Our friends paid double so be careful when booking. As I said, the location is great.

The "hotel" appears to be a motel they are probably in the process of converting.
However, my room was in terrible condition.
Drain cover missing from sink, drywall peeling/hanging from ceiling, old vomit on the floor by the window, shower stall old with corrosion/residue on the faucet handle, lots of hair on the shower wall (which shows it had not been cleaned before i checked in).
I travel with my own little disinfectant cleaner. Completely emptied it on this room.
I was out there visiting for my birthday. So, we spent a lot of time out shopping and at restaurants (away from the hotel). But, the fact this room was in such terrible condition was incredibly upsetting.
I worked in the hotel industry for over 13-years. Stayed at many hotels. So, I know not every place is perfect. But, this room was flat out terrible.
Despite this place having a great location (within walking distance to lots of restaurants/bars), I would never stay there again based off of my experience with this room.
Walkability: It's downtown and closely located to many bars and restaurants.

The room was… nice. Not $350 nice but it’s Napa. So…
Walkability: Close to everything

Was it worth the price of $340? No! But, we had no choice, we were here for a concert. It looks like the normal rates for this hotel is $150... So, we encountered a few hiccups like hair in the shower and opened coffee condiment packets, both made me question the cleanliness. However, the comfort of the bed, an armchair to chill and quietness and the unbeatable location, made our stay worthwhile. We will stay here again? Absolutely! The lobby staff were friendly and fun. #getanewcleaningcrew
Rooms: See above. The shower was NOT cleaned. I do not have long black hair!
Nearby activities: Uptown Theater, Folklore Napa
Safety: We felt very safe, good area
Walkability: Very easy to walk around to fun locations
Food and drinks: A vast variety of food and drinks

If I could give this 0 stars I would! Prior to staying here my expectations were low based on the reviews but it wasn't low enough.
This review is more for my future self so I don't foolishly book this "hotel" again after drinking adult grape juice and thinking "it wasn't that bad"....
Hey Future self:
1. The bathroom tub and shower head had mold/mildew
2.The toilet had black moldy spots in the bowl and a weird looking pink slim on the bottom of the bowl.
3. The bathroom sink was missing a drain cover and there was bandages and other crap stuck in the drain.
4. We checked in late so I didnt notice it but when I woke up I had dog hair on my clothes. There was dog hair everywhere, I had to put my clothes in a garbage bag when we left because I didn't want the dog hair to get in my travel bags. So gross! Dogs aren't gross, it's the fact that it proved that the bed and carpet weren't cleaned.
5. It was impossible to sleep, there were guests returning to their rooms drunk and loudly talking and laughing. It happened 3 times and one group stayed in the parking lot yelling and laughing so loud. I was happy that they were having a great time but we all woke up and stayed up because of it. There was no security to control that situation.
6. The room key didn't work on 3 occasions, I had to go back to the lobby to get it fixed.
7. The AC in our room kept shutting on and off, making it very difficult to sleep.
8. The parking is terrible, the stalls are small and there isn't enough stalls for guests so we had to find street parking which was an issue.
9. The door to the stairwell had a lock which was a joke because the lock didn't even work. When we returned from breakfast we found it propped open.
Again 0/10, would not recommend it. If you want to pay a lot of money and don't mind dog hair, mold, mildew, not being able to sleep and want to party in the parking lot then this is the place for you!

First of all, I needed a parking lot, so I made a reservation. There is nothing better about the facilities compared to the expensive price.
There is no microwave or refrigerator in the room. There is a staff member at the desk in the lobby, but it is not always there. When the door is opened, you hear the bell and come out.
And after using the card key today, it cannot be used again tomorrow. There is the inconvenience of having to go to the lobby every day to change the key.
We were first assigned a room on the second floor, but strange foreigners in the room next door put their hands through our window and saw that the rooms with and without screens were different, so we talked about it and changed rooms.
The funny thing is, there was no amenities or soap in the first room on the second floor, but there was one on the third floor. You don't manage it haha
My cell phone fell off the bedside table, so I picked it up and there was a spider web, and when I looked underneath, it was full of trash.
There was an ice machine outside the first floor, but it said it was broken, but they didn't seem to care about fixing it.
And since I am also a smoker, I went outside the hotel and smoked.
On the first day, the people living next door on the second floor were smoking weed on the veranda in front of the front door, so I told the desk about it and they said it was okay since it wasn't in the room.....
I am also a smoker, but I think that is the wrong policy.
We booked a total of 7 hotels and this was the most expensive, nothing and worst hotel.

This “hotel” is definitely in the two star category. My biggest gripe is the sound insulation. Whether someone is in the room next to, above or outside, you can join their conversation. This meant I was up until 1AM some nights - until I myself asked some girls to quiet down outside, and wasn’t able to sleep in as my neighbors didn’t realize the wall was paper thin. Seems quiet hours aren’t communicated well to all - and there is no one to call after hours to enforce them. That or they were doing maintenance at 6:30AM. On top of that, 112 and the room next door are clearly able to be joined by an insecure door. There is no way to lock it from being opened from the other side and all that’s blocking it is a garment rack serving as a closet. If I hadn’t been at a conference all day I’d have asked to be moved but this was strictly a purpose room - I had to hope for the best. As a woman traveling on her own this is a massive security issue. I elected to put up my DnD sign for the two days I was here so cannot speak to cleaning. Tissue is super thin - had to use two every time I blew my nose, especially since there was a fire over the hill. A little investment in quality could go a long way. The AC is also really loud, so if you need it overnight, good luck…
I can’t suggest staying here. I didn’t feel myself or my things secure and I barely got sleep. Should’ve spent more to stay at the conference hotel…

My wife and I stayed at Napa Valley Hotel and Suites from May 24 to May 27, 2024, and it was the worst hotel experience we've ever had.
Positives:
- The hotel is in a fantastic location in downtown Napa, making it easy to explore the area.
- The front desk staff was mostly friendly and helpful.
Negatives:
- The room was in bad shape: blood-stained sheets, smudges on the bathroom walls that looked like blood, rust, and what appeared to be black mold in the bathtub.
- Torn carpets and a severe lack of overall cleanliness.
- The walls are very thin; we could hear every move of the people above us. They started moving around at 3 a.m., so we didn't get any good sleep.
- When we reported these issues, management offered to clean the room, but we didn't trust the cleaning crew given the initial state of the room, especially with all our belongings already inside.
- Despite our concerns, someone entered the room to make the bed and left my wife's pajamas on the dirty floor.
- The hotel was fully booked, so we couldn't move to another room, and all other hotels in the area were also booked due to the BottleRock festival.
- We paid nearly $2100 for a 3-night stay, and management refused to issue any refund, instead blaming us for not allowing them to re-clean the room. Given the severity of the initial issues, we had no reason to trust that a subsequent cleaning would be any better.
My wife and I travel frequently and have stayed at a wide range of hotels. We knew this wouldn’t be a 5-star stay, but we did expect basic cleanliness, especially for the amount of money we paid.
Despite the great location, the lack of cleanliness, care, and customer concern from management is disappointing. It's appalling to charge nearly $700 per night for such substandard conditions.

Great location! Front desk staff was very friendly...that is where the positives end. My family stayed 3 nights in room 312 and 316 and cleanliness standards were not even close to being met. Both bathrooms were extremely moldy, and both showers had many, very dark stains in the grout and caulking, as well as more than 10 cracked bathroom tiles on the walls (in each bathroom). I actually went to CVS and bought bathroom cleaner for the parts of the shower I needed to touch to take a shower after asking the front desk for cleaner or bleach and was told by the front desk that "the maids could clean it tomorrow because they don't keep bleach on site." In room 316 the phone did not work, there was a large v-shaped rip in the carpet almost 8 inches long clearly visible under the sink, large spots of paint were peeling off the exterior of the door, the hair dryer was extremely sticky, and the baseboards were caked with dust and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks, if not months. Room 312 smelled of burnt plastic, had stains on the carpet, and didn't even have a clock. I walked into room 316 while the maid was "cleaning" it after the first night and watched her pick up the pillows off the floor and put them on the newly made bed. I asked her to change the pillowcases and she didn't understand me, so I had to use google translate, but then she did understand and she handed me new pillowcases. After the following day's "cleaning" I found a short black hair on one of the pillows (I have light brown hair, my husband's is silver) and so asked the front desk for another set of clean pillowcases. The elevator made loud noises and didn't have any safety certification stickers anywhere so we took the stairs after the first elevator use. The lighting in the northwest stairwell was so dim at night as to be dangerous and the safety key lock to open the door to get upstairs was never locked, even at night. The hotel website does not let me upload the pictures I took, unfortunately. I just tried to post this review on the hotel website and it was not posted.

So this is an old motel (exterior room entrances). The rooms I saw were nicely redone not too long ago. Easily the most lit up rooms I have been in. 4 can lights, 2 reading lights at the bed, and 3 different lights in tiny bathroom. This room/bathroom was so bright. Paint was pretty fresh and white, the bed and pillows were good. The water pressure in the shower was so light it was difficult to rinse off.
The great??? The location in the center of Napa. Easy to walk everywhere we went the 4 days we stayed. Rooms were about $200 a night the weekend we stayed, and well worth it.

Several issues during a 24 hour stay. All addressed by the front desk manager (very nice and polite), but again….for a 24 hour stay I shouldn’t have had to go through so many problems.
Nearby activities: In the heart of downtown Napa, walking distance to everything, including shops, restaurants and points of interest.

Super mid-Napa location, but motel (not hotel) itself is old and dated, with small rooms and a tiny, caged pool. You don’t get a second chance to make a first impression, and this was our front door. Bathroom was old, with broken tiles, dirty grout and yucky caulking. Free parking, though!
