Corporate philosophy seems to be to keep the store understaffed and force everyone to use self checkout. I’ve started shopping at Safeway more. Tired of waiting in a long line or being berated by a manager for not using self checkout.

Clean store with friendly staff. Similar big brand merchandise as Safeway or Lucky with very limited organic options. Everything is overpriced.

Best grocery in Napa. Always well stocked but not so big that you need your running shoes for every shopping trip, and the folks there are super friendly and helpful.

I shop here very regularly and spend a lot of money here. Today I was going down an isle looking for a particular item and there was an employee by the name of Elaine who was stocking shelves when I asked for a particular item and she said they did not carry the item at this store. As I turned around to leave the isle I saw the item I was looking for. I told the employee for future reference where the item was and she gave me a dirty look. I then proceeded to turn my cart around and she was blocking the isle and I politely asked if she could move and she gave me another dirty look and then eventually moved over so I could pass. I proceeded to ask if she wasn’t having a good day and she replied I didn’t say nothin. I asked to speak to the manger but he was not available. Extremely rude customer service. I hope she doesn’t treat all the customers like this. Or I’ll find another store to shop.

A lot of high-end grocery items, wonderful selection of spirits and produce is well selected. But I can't help but say that the location isn't ideal. Prices are grossly marked up. And friendly cashiers....not so much.

I went in to check out their plants while I was in town and being the indecisive person that I am I could not decide which ones I wanted. A lady that worked there was making small talk with me about them, so I told her they were beautiful and kept on looking. She then proceeds to scold me for touching the plants too much…she stated that she takes classes on plants so she knows that I was going to kill them. She said that I was done and had done enough.. mind you I’m obsessed with plants, I know plant etiquette and just overall common sense in not going into a store to start yanking at any pant ever! I was shocked. Not wanting to start an argument, I just said okay, got my stuff and left. This was a few weeks ago, but I still was laugh in disbelief in how they could have someone working there treat a customer this way.
