Such a beautiful experience on a beautiful Saturday in Napa. It was my first time to Robert Mondavi and I was impressed! It's right at the end of Downtown Napa and a little walk away from the busy streets. They don't have a parking lot so you will need to walk a few blocks after parking in the streets nearby. The space is gorgeous. There are two floors and a lovely patio. We were able to sit our group of 9 on the patio. There's a great view of the Napa River, bridge and downtown. We ordered 2 of everything on their menu and it was all delicious! The Brussel sprouts were my favorite and the fries were a hit. The tasting experience was fantastic, as well. We were welcomed with a Sparking that was sweet and refreshing - it was all of our favorites. There were 5 other wines - 2 whites and 3 reds. They also served aged Parmesan cheese from Italy with an aged balsamic vinegar that was to-die-for. Unfortunately, they do not sell the balsamic vinegar but apparently you can order it from Amazon. LOL I also noticed that the tasting menu had a little "Happy Birthday Kasondra" printed on the bottom for our birthday girl! This was such a nice touch. Our server was very knowledgeable and super accommodating. He fulfilled all of our requests. We really enjoyed our relaxing tasting and I can't wait to be back!

We visited here a few days ago. Definitely the lowlight of our Napa trip. We felt rushed the entire time. We pre ordered food and I had to pull up the confirmation and remind our host to get it. When we said we were not interested in joining the wine club, our attendant vanished. The space is beautiful but the experience was not.

Got the pickle! We stopped here for our first stop before a show, but unfortunately they were closed for a private event! No fear, the hostess accommodated us with a glass of wine and made us feel right at home! We will be back! Highly recommended.

A classic building wonderfully renovated for tastings, but that is only the beginning. The employees are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Daniel helped us identify nuances between vintages, allowing us to choose the best wines for our tastes. Try the reserves!

I don't often give 5 stars to anywhere, but the Mondavi Arch & Tower was a wonderful experience. Our wine host (Daniel) was absolutely fantastic and he is incredibly knowledgeable about local wines and the local history. I have visited Napa numerous times and he made this one with my son very special and memorable. Thanks again! On a side note- the food was excellent! We had an order of meatballs (beef, lamb, pork, Parmesan) and waffle fries (the ranch dip was outrageously good) were both wonderful. The setting on the Napa River, in town, was quite enjoyable as well.

One of my closest friends and I went to Napa Valley in July 2023. One of the wineries that we visited was Robert Mondavi Winery (old location). According to their website, Robert Mondavi was established in 1966, with over 50 years leading California's wine industry, home to "To Kalon Vineyard" (rated #1 in North America and #7 in the World). Robert Mondavi is known for Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, and the signature Fume Blanc. When we visited in July 2023, we did a wine tasting and got to sit outside. It was my first time trying Fume Blanc - definitely memorable. I also really liked all of their other tasters (Pinot Noir, Red Blend, and Cabernet Sauvignon). Service was great. Our waitress definitely knew her wines and which cheese paired best with which wine. Definitely worth a trip! I would like to go back and see their new location! Pics (Old Location):

Does not allow children and rather snooty about it.

We really enjoyed the wines and the sommelier was knowledgeable. However, he was so pushy for us to get the membership. It is the only negative thing but it really changed our experience. Still giving it a decent review because of the quality of the wine. That said, it's the only winery where we felt pressured into a membership and that should not be the case.

We went to the To Kalon through the ages event this past weekend. Thank you so much to the Mondavi staff and especially Troy for the above and beyond hospitality! The food was excellent, and To Kalon wine speaks for itself (we really enjoyed the history and vertical comparisons). The new location in Napa is spectacular; enjoying the views of the sunset over the river was so beautiful.

Arch & Tower is a new concept for Robert Mondavi, offering a high end tasting experience. Each table is assigned a sommelier to describe the wines and how to fully appreciate them. Marlon, our sommelier, was terrific. No judgement regarding one's knowledge of wine. One shouldn't expect to "love" each wine, but at least leave with an appreciation of the different varietals. Of our 4 tastings, the Pinot noir was the unanimous winner. Of course, if you like any of the wine new you taste, you're welcome to purchase bottles. As this was our 3rd tasting of the day, we were getting a little buzzed, so we ordered some food. We had a large order of some of the best waffle fries you'll ever eat. And a plate of roasted olives. An enjoyable hour or two. But some street signage would be helpful. If you don't know the label for Robert Mondavi, you could spend quite a while looking for the tasting room. One last thought. Make a reservation.
