Really? Half, oops I mean only ten to fifteen per cent of the lockers (the ones with the tiny black circle on top-usually in the corner) in the women's room work. Why? Ask the front desk and they'll tell you the lockers need very expensive "hinge or full lock repairs". Yet, when I brought a couple of AA batteries with me and eyeglass screwdrivers, I was able to take off the plate on an empty battery unit and put in new batteries. I put back on the plate and the "expensive repair" was completed for under $2 bucks and the locker worked fine. Next the towels-they are greasy (not properly washed?) and waaay too small. The staff gives you a dirty look if you ask for two. The other health club around the corner gives out as many towels as you want and has stacks of them in the bathroom, I mean locker room, and throughout the gym. Their towels are big and fluffy. That reminds me Active Wellness has this dying energy-the majority and I mean almost all the folks who work out are old (I know I fit the category) and are treated condescendingly by staff. Plus the place is usually very empty-I thought this was a plus until I realized the deadness of the place. The classes are all inthis really tiny room (to make them look full?). The trainers are very amateurish. For example, do not sign up for weight training with Body. He is rude to us seniors and gives both his elderly male and female students Barbi doll weights to do.I know someone who is in her 50s and she has been training with him for a long time and is STILL stuck on the first or second bar on the machines. Finally, they send you really nasty emails if you skip a class or not-I had a class that they waited 20 minutes to tell us the teacher would mot show up and they sent ME, NOT HER, nasty messages for missing a cancelled class I actually showed up for. I never got a response whenI complained. Nobody at the front desk will respond to you. Go figure.

I wrote my review over a month ago, as of now, the problem is actually worse, many cable channels can't be seen or heard. I will post a negative review monthly until the problem is solved.

I'm disabled and do my physical therapy in their warm pool. I joined, hoping that I could do my physical therapy on my own. The warm pool in which I do my physical therapy is closed because something is broken. Last year the hot tub was out of commission for many months. I want a gym membership here because I have access to the physical therapy tools that I use in my appointments. Membership isn't cheap here, but I just wish there weren't so many things out of commission all the time. It's run by Providence Healthcare, which is a big company that shouldn't have so many things broken all the time.

This gym is very clean and open. It smells good. There's very enjoyable classes that are adaptable to your skill level. They have private showers which is always a plus. They also have a sauna which is always good for relaxation.Altogether this is a great gym, pool, and wellness center.

I've been a member for over 12 years and the quality for the gym has only worsened and gotten more expensive. They used to have a wide variety of classes at all hours, but now there are only a handful and they are always full. They took away the option to bring a guest once a month, the sauna is cheap and in poor condition, the pool and hot tub are always broken and their machines are dated. The fee should be $10 a month for the quality of this gym. You're better off taking your service to planet fitness.

When available, the gentle/chair yoga classes are good. The problem is that they fill up in the middle of the night and it is impossible to get a reservation. That is NOT good for non-computer users or those who don't get up in the middle of the night to get a reservation. They don't cater to the aging population that seems to comprise the majority of the faces you see actually using the facility. Not worth the hassel or the money.

A full exercise and Wellness Center integrated with Queen of the Valley's Physical Therapy Facility. They have two swimming pools and a SPA. Their staff if friendly and professional. Their special classes have well-trained friendly and professional staffs. A superb spacious and clean facility that integrates a wholistic wellness and physical care program.

Extremely over priced for quality of equipment and club. Staff refused to honor my cancellation request until after I was charged an additional month citing a policy that is not written or mentioned in terms and conditions, and despite several attempts at contacting them for clarification they would not respond. Untrustworthy and dishonest club would avoid at all costs.

Nice gym as far as equipment but sadly people still buying into the thing ( omg even in the pool) swear to god walking around clueless. Such a disservice to someone trying to be healthy and wearing a Most trainers look less healthy and fit than their clients and they are talking about their health issues. Seriously!! Good thing it's near a hospital as many look like they are already half way there. Very sad but not surprising in CA.

Why haven’t you given your members their guest passes? You guys need to fix this and give your previous synergy members their guest passes, this is outrageous

Would gladly change this review to 5 stars because the faculty is clean, great staff, and great equipment. But, you’re just going to take away guest passes that members have saved up for years ?? Because of Covid? That’s been done with, return the earned guest passes or you’ll lose a lot of members

We were members before pandemic and then re-joined. If you are a swimmer then beware the ongoing problems with the pool and hot tub. I have talked numerous times and written to the head management and to the management in the facility they do not treat their swimmers like they should but yet they continue to collect our money never offering to reimbursed us for anything. Now the pool has been closed since Friday afternoon and do not even have anyone coming to look at it until Monday and this is the treatment that goes on way too often. The only reason many of us have stayed was due to the pool but I know a lot of members are leaving as this is our exercise and now they are even canceling classes that we pay for in our membership dues. We just do not matter to them
