They kicked Clemente's Italian food out of here. I have no reason to ever visit you again.

I wasn't buying anything and he demanded to ID us both Im 28 and had my DMV replacement ID, again not buying anything, and he still wanted to ID me and when I explained I wasn't buying anything he started yelling at us unprovoked. Angry, Unreasonable guy. if you wanna buy Alcohol you got a whole lot of better options place was cheap and shoddy too.

Literally the only reason I ever came to this liquor store was to get Clementines food. The owner of Val's kicked them out. Such a shame. No one would know this liquor store if it wasn't for Clementines. No need to ever go back.

If I could give a zero review I would. DO NOT BUY YOUR LOTTERY TICKETS HERE!!! Asked for a Powerball ticket and the older Indian clerk behind the register handed me a Mega Million ticket. I told him it was the wrong ticket and he said too bad I can't do anything about it. This happened later to my friend, same thing. I dislike dishonest people. This just isn't coincidental. Not sure what he's up to, he can hear perfectly well when he wants to. Just no way to do business. Please don't patronize this business.

FAKE ITALIAN, SCAM, BELIEVE THE 1 & 2 STAR REVIEWS. - Clamentes Ravioli and Malfatti inside VAL's LIQUOR storeTerrible meatball sandwichTrying to find this place should have been my first clue that it wasn't great. We asked a local and she had no idea what Italian place we were talking about. Strike 1.I ordered a meatball sandwich for $10. The meatballs were homemade, but they skimped on the meat portion. The meatballs had an odd flavor. I detected something like nutmeg or allspice which was very off-putting. They put sauce inside the sandwich and on the top of the bread with me which makes it a slimy, soggy mess to eat. The sauce was not appealing either. It was not a red marinara type sauce. It was a brown sauce which did not have a good taste. Strike 2.My friend ordered cheese raviolis and the milfati. They put everything in one container. So d**** Then they charged her $0.55 for the container! I'm sorry, but that $0.55 should be part of the cost of the food, not an add-on. Strike 3.we were both highly disappointed with this place. I ended up throwing the entire meatball sandwich in the trash. I would not recommend going here.TOO MANY THINGS WRONG WITH THIS PLACE- This is NOT Italian food. It's INEDIBLE Food.- This place is a scam masquerading as an italian restaurant.- Unfortunately I know what real Italian food is AND I went there with my Italian friend!!?- They use a brown sauce that resembles meat gravy and tastes of cinnamon, nutmeg and onions. Weirdest sauce ever! Zero semblance of marinara or Spagetti sauce.- They charge for the STYROFOAM ? take out containers $0.55. Unhealthy!!- DECEPTIVE SCAM: Then they tried charging me $5.00 for the food container, and pretended it was a mistake?. CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS.- They ONLY do take out. It's inside the liquor store. (Not an issue, I know some great hole in the wall restaurants) but just be aware there're not tables even outside. We said we'd eat in the car and the spastic Lady didn't give us any napkins & cutlery.- The menu is based on individual orders. Like an order of Malfatti, ravioli, Spagetti etc.- My friend ordered ravioli and Malfatti. The lady put both of these in ONE container! I couldn't tell what was what. I told her this was unacceptable, she started mouthing off. What if one order was mine and the other for someone else ?? Zero common sense. Best example of Lack of Basic common sense!- ALL Their pasta was Way overcooked. Mushy like mashed potatoes. Couldn't taste the ravioli filling coz it was boiled out. EPIC FAILURE.- Final thought: I'm flabbergasted by the higher ratings coz This food is not fit even for prison.

Unimpressive curation of wine and IPA. Had to go with Lagunitas by default because there was nothing else in their selection. Yes, it’s a tiny store , but what they had was dull. The price on the shelf will not match what you pay, either. Whether intentional or accidental, both products I bought were significantly more on the receipt, and they added a merchant fee as well. Maybe that’s a custom in California, and I’m not hip to local business practices.

We discovered Val's Liquor from Yelp. I can say that Val's has all the liquor in all of Napa Valley. We were coming from Calistoga and with all the wine available we had a craving for Crown Royal whiskey and the search brought us to Val's Liquor. The service was quick and the selection was big. The ambiance seemed like a big collection of different spirits, etc. I would go again if ever I was in the vicinity.

The label on the wine said $19.99, when I went to check out the Indian guy charged me $25.99.I showed him the label but he said he put the wrong label on it.

How is this place still in Napa? I went in looking for a specific wine since I was in the area. This place is typical of a cringy liquor store. I was greeted with the cold silent stare... They have more hard liquor than wines. Not sure why they keep the BANG on the top shelf out of reach lol The location is very out of place and their selection is nothing special.

G's Street Food located here is fabulous. You can buy wine from almost zero dollars to $400 for some Opus One with some age on it. I asked for some Champagne and the guy was getting it down for me and suggested some chilled from the cooler. Here's the deal. This is old Napa. If you want to pay 10X and have your a** kissed by people who will forget about you the second you get back in your Tesla, there are a hundred other options for you.

How is this place is still in business? Overpriced, rude service and the prices vary depending on the person taking you cash or charging to use you personal debt . Do you self a favor go else where!
