“Right now there is not much assortment of products, and their prices start from $1.25 and up, I hope they return to having the assortment of products they used to have”
“Loved this store. Large variety. Many cute things. Found gift boxes for Mother's Day gifts. Picked up a couple of things for Father's Day to go with his big gift.”
“Store always has lotsa good loot! ? Excellent deals. I only use Eucerin Advanced Repair lotion where it's usually $10 for 8oz on Amazon - I find it here for 4.95 when they have it, last time they didn't have but found Gold Bond Healing 5.5 oz for 3.95 and it's very good too. Bought all sorts of other toiletries Mennen deodorant Aqua Shave razors shaving creams ALL very low priced and definitely lower than Walmart Target, wherever. ✌️ ?”
“Love saving money shopping here. Unfortunately you have to pay attention to what you're buying. Some things are lower in quality than you'd expect. They are always getting new and different products, which sucks if you find something you like because it might be sold out forever the next time you visit.”
“I've always liked this Dollar tree location. Not too big and not too small and staff are always helpful and have positive attitudes. Store is also kept clean and usually stocked. Selection of items is also good. Nice to know that this location has gift cards racks.
I’m not a big fan of self serve checkouts and their three self checkout line can be long. Often times, when it does, staff will open up a cashier line.
You may find undesirable-looking people outside entrance area standing around, maybe asking for money. They seem to be harmless.
Parking can be tight out in front of their store but the outdoor plaza has plenty of parking.”
“Update:
They restocked the shelves and organized the store finally!!! All the other 3 times or so I have been here was a total mess so I am glad they are improving.
This is the most messy, low stock, and unorganized Dollar Tree I have been to in San Diego. I am shocked that nothing has improved since the couple of times I have been here. Also, it is strange that the brightness in the store is low and too dark at times. They need more employees to restock the shelves and organize everything better.”
“The location is perfect for going over the border. I love this brand. I got a good number of things that will go well with my accommodation in Baja. I personally don't know how to use the dollar stores in Mexico so I think this is a good stop for a new traveller.”
“Some of the best employees in the area. I'm a frequent customer of theirs and they're very much familiar with me at this point. They have right about anything you need and the employees are just the greatest human beings. Keep up the great work!”
“Cleanest Dollar Tree I've ever been to. I went on a Saturday evening before they closed, actually we were their last customer. We were pleasantly surprised at how clean and fully stocked they were considering it being the end of their business day. The manager and all other employees working were very professional, helpful and polite. Thank you for providing wonderful service, we'll be back.”
“Staff is always so friendly here and things are always stocked. They have a good variety of food and miscellaneous things like nail supplies and household items.”
“I love this place. You can tell that the people that started this company and the ones who run it today have always had the customers best interest at heart. I commend the Dollar Tree on its commitment to providing quality at an unmatched price and I recommend supporting this company. There are no other dollar stores around after the pandemic and inflation. They only went up a humble 25 cents. At the other stores I'll be damned if there is anything for a buck anymore. Update some prices on certain items have gone up.”
“I knew we could find some cheap plastic baskets to put our toiletries in while traveling and found them here. Also looked for some name brand baby shampoo for $1.25 instead of $7+ at the pharmacy. I was also looking for some spray eye glass cleaner expecting to find a small travel size for $1.25. Nope a much larger size for your home counter. Too big to travel. Always great Halloween and Christmas decorations and small projects for the grandkids to do.”
“I appreciated the amount of products/ supplies nearly tucked in the store (including bottled water), the low prices, AND most importantly the kind and helpful staff; especially the manager/owner!makes a special”
“Always fully stocked. Good customer service (they great you as. you walk in and as you leave).
A lot of parking.
Only downside, it can be scary at night if there's beggers/homeless people by the entrance.”
“I have been going to dollar tree for years. I always can find the majority of things a stopped fo unlike other 99 cent stores.I always have had friendly service.”
“Cool store....not everything is .99 cents. The prices are on the items if it's not a dollar. Has a little bit of pretty much everything imaginable!! Except NO ICE! They don't sell ice!! Oh and milk...only sell boxed milk. However they do put it in the fridge so its cold. Too expensive though in my opinion...$2.99 for a quart. If I remember correctly it's half of a half gallon for $3, I think that's too much! Other than that the ice in the milk the store is really cool! It has clothes, underwear, socks, hats, all snacks cookies crackers, cooking oils, bathroom amenities, cooking pots pans, even home decor! If you've never been it's worth going to check it out!”
“I have been to a few Dollar Tree stores over the years, this location was the most organized and clean that I have seen. The staff was friendly and professional. Checkout was very quick. I found some great toys for my fur babies and some other great stuff.”
“The people I met recently were most friendly and sweet. But I do have to complain about a cashier doing a while ago that was obnoxious and violated basic queue logic.
Buyer 1 who was third in line in Line A, had three items. Line B then opened. So that buyer went to be the first at Line B. But the cashier STOPPED that buyer and forced them to wait, just to bring the buyer second in Line A over. For the record, Buyer A had only like a handful of items, Line A was NOT exceptionally slow. Buyer B had a full cart of items! Even Buyer B was confused.
The cashier shouldn’t have to do such things, it’s first come first serve for cashier lines for efficiency. The cashier should ONLY EVER pull from the front of another line if it is exceptionally slow. Still, why pull someone with a full cart from the front of even an exceptionally slow/long line to get first dibs in a newly open line, when someone with just one item has already made it there? Not everyone buyer will be aware enough to let the person with one item ahead. All of this serves as “accommodation” that only wastes more time and effort. Another scenario even: if someone makes it to line 1 with a lot of items, is in a hurry but isn’t gonna mention anything for politeness sake, only for the cashier to pull Person B who has an equal amount of items from the front of another average line. It’s just, by this same logic, should the buyer who stayed inside the store the longest be given dibs as the first one to pay, out of everyone currently present in the store?
This was a quite a mundane rant I went on but it really was annoying. Another good thing, it seems the possibly bigoted older male employee is gone, the one who many have reported acted weird to them from treating them rudely, to searching bags and following them. Relief.”
“For those gift ideas made with love, or party decorations for graduation or whatever the occasion may be. The Dollar Tree is the place for you. They have a bit of everything at low prices.”
“This is as good a place to go when you have a number of things that you need to find and purchase & limited $$$ with which to buy them : THIS is a friendly store with helpful clerks and other customers & many many shelves filled just about everything you can imagine needing or wanting to give your ideas and your projects that extra little jenesaisPAS that makes it all work!”
“I just left to pick up some cleaning supplies and Aaron at the register was so nice, happy and positive! It was such a great interaction with a cash register employee. You just don't get that these days- thanks Aaron!
**give this guy a raise and promotion! **”
“It was quite a show.Due to the fact they stereotype on a lady who had just gotten off work they thought she had taken something it got loud and it was humiliated for the women ....”
“The store was neater than I'd seen it in a long time; that made me completely relaxed. That said, there were many shelves half empty, but there were a bunch of product boxes, right in front of the cash register, still waiting to be unboxed and shelved. The bright spot was the cashier, Lea. She carefully wrapped each of the glass jars, which are gorgeous, and the ceramic bowl. She packed the bag perfectly so it wasn't heavy. And, to top it off, she took the person who walked up behind me after she was about to take a break. Great customer service!”
“The BEST Dollar Tree. They have EVERYTHING. It's very clean and organized. Nice ppl who work there. From nice dishes to facial toner and serums there's a wide selection of quality items. I'm going baco for fake nails 1.25 and all shapes & eyelashes 1.25 very thick long and curled. They do have some items for 5.oo”
“i look forward to seeing the suprise goodies at dollar tree, but sadly through research i was made aware how the street people are almost stealing them out of business, which i was through my research caused the neighborhood walmart to pack up leave and close down, which i looked forward to doing my weekly shoping, which walmart called it the store was under" performing" being stolen out of business, i suspect is because in california you can steal up to $900+ dolars before it becomes a felony, on top of that the street people aint got nothing to loose, jail to them is 3 hots and a cot, on top of that, by the time the cops arive the 5 finger discounter is long gone, i sugested to put up signs we reward people who turn in shop lifters, also they could put on the sign please help us stay in your comunity turn in a shop lifter, there is no way do i have the smarts, to figure out the thousands of steps it takes to open 1 store now x that by 5000+ stores, i have heard street talk "i hate rich people, who are probably the low lifes that steal stores out of business, then i ask them do you know any poor people who have opened any stores lately, which causes them to go into a major grand maul sezure, trying to come up with a answer, then to further drive the point home, i say dont you think these rich people you say you hate, could easly close down every 1 of their stores and haply go to a tropical lisland and easly retire for the rest of their lives, not having to put up with low life shop lifters, facts even if money grew on trees the smart ones would get it first, fact i aint that smart, and i aint rich, so fact to the extent a person is rich is a measurement of their smarts, and i make it a point to thank them for being open, oh yeah if i witness a low life abusing a casheer, i will apologize for them being walked allover like a dirty rug, i try to conduct my life on the grudge factor, that means i go out of my way to treat people kindly and respectfull, so far it has worked out in my life real good”
“I visited my local Dollar Tree this evening and as I was checking out with a young woman, I was greeted upon exiting by an incredible worker by the name of Michael. It didn’t surprise me as he’s been extremely courteous, professional and outgoing in the past, but I decided to take the time tonight to acknowledge how appreciative I am as a long-standing customer. It’s truly refreshing to receive service by someone who seems extremely engaged and enthusiastic about their job. You just don’t see that as much these days, and Michael is an excellent representation of someone who provides a phenomenal customer experience to each and every person that he helps. He was an extremely great hire, and I just want management to know that this man deserves a raise and a promotion!! Please know that even at 8 o'clock at night when everyone else is preparing to go home, he’s still greeting customers, thanking them for their business and leading by example…simply WOW!”
“I’ve been a regular at this location & a few more for at least 8 years. This is my go to location, as I live near by, but the store is big. They have a bigger store & more selection than others. The employees here have always been great! I used to crack jokes with a few of the girls since we’d always see each other, & I’m not a creep or anything. I’m just a single mom who worked years in retail too. Some of them have rbf, but hey, I do too, so I get it. I can’t say one negative thing about the employees or the store. Yeah sometimes it’s super busy, but they will open another register, where at other locations, they won’t. They always keep the shelves stocked, unless there’s a transportation or shortage issue beyond their control. I alway get what I’m looking for & more. Thanks to all the employees here for making this location the best one. Yall r awesome.”
