My vehicle was being repaired at a body shop. Part of the repairs was calibration of a new sensor installed in the front bumper. As it is a relatively newer model, 3rd party service providers do not have the appropriate software to do the calibration. So the body shop makes the appointment for the service at Mossy Nissan National City. They bring the car in and the service advisor tells them that they had to cancel the appointment (no reason given) and and made a new appointment for the next day.Body shop brings the vehicle back the next day. Mossy Nissan supposedly performs the calibration and releases the vehicle back to the body shop.My wife and I go to pick the vehicle up and there is a sensor alarm that won't clear. Not something to be expected after a calibration.Conversations ensue between the body shop and Mossy Nissan. Mossy Nissan says that the retaining bracket holding the sensor is bent, affecting the performance of the sensor. Body shop says great, well replace the bracket and you can re-calibrate the senor. Mossy says if the body shop replaces the bracket, they will have to pay again to have the sensor calibrated but if they let Mossy do the bracket, they won't have to pay full price for the recalibration. Lots of back and forth. Finally, the body shop calls in and is just getting ready to to tell Mossy to go ahead when they confess that they did not properly calibrate the sensor in the first place; the sensor is now calibrated and the vehicle is ready for pick-up. Huh.Questions that will probably never be answered:If the bracket was bent, why wasn't that mentioned to either the body shop or the vehicle owner PRIOR to attempting to calibrate the sensor? If the wrong calibration procedure was done initially, why didn't the bracket need to be replaced before the correct calibration procedure was done? Background info...I used to bring my Nissans in for service (except for oil changes -- I have access to a lift and I do enjoy doing the things I know how to do on my vehicles). I stopped when I brought a vehicle in for brake service and the service advisor tried to upsell me on fluid changes/flushes on everything.I asked about them and was given a song-and-dance routine about how the services were necessary, blah, blah, blah. I asked why an oil change was necessary because I had just changed it the weekend before. The oil was still golden colored on the dipstick. The service advisor 'fessed up that the service recommendations were based on what is in their computer system and they don't actually look at any of the fluids and filters before recommending that they be serviced. (Also, the service advisors get a commission on up-sells). This was when I decided to learn how to do more maintenance (like brakes).

I went in for an oil change, when I went to sign papers when service was done. They had told me that my battery is no longer good and the numbers were about low 200. I said well that's weird I just bought that battery a year ago. So I go to check my store where I bought it that was under warranty. Well what do you know. Perfect condition. I no longer trust this business. We go there thinking we can trust it and they let us down.

Horrible Service! They sell something online on Groupon. They didn't specify their oil change is only for NISSAN!!! They didn't say ANYTHING on app! I drove 30 min for this and they refused to do so. Now Groupon don't have a call number and they didn't give my money back! Great!

Set up an appointment and came in to get some service done and a few recalls done on my car. The service was amazing Antonio Barajas greeted me with a smile and all the other people were very friendly when I walked in. They told me it would take a couple hours for all the services but was done even quicker which was amazing. They went above and beyond by even washing the car and helping me by replacing the batteries in the remote clickers. Definitely will be back for any services needed.

I had my car towed to Mossy Nissan National City. I called the service department ahead to set up an appointment. The service department representative was very helpful & professional. Once I arrived, I was greeted by Galvin Glanz, service advisor. He was so kind & took the time to explain the details of the diagnostic procedure. He answered all my questions. This young man is a perfect example of proper training & taking pride in representing Mossy Nissan. I hope he gets acknowledged for his exceptional work ! Keep up the excellent work Galvin Glanz!

My truck that i bought to run my entire business doesn't work, the transmission does not go into Park. Mossy Nissan says "no fix sorry call corporate" i call Corporate they say " no fix sorry go to the dealership" they sold a vehicle and had no issue making money in the sale like a business does but when they realize what they sold doesn't work they tell you to fly a kite. Quite literally the worst experience of my entire life.

But he searched other locations n searched online to find it. took more than 3 weeks but he didn't stop. he did the best. honestly such a great experience. the thing that I loved the most was that he did not pressure me and he respected my time. Thank u Ian

Six years later I have continued to exclusively come here to service my car. Mark, the Service Manager and his team do not disappoint me at all. Mark provides exceptional customer service and goes above and beyond. Although he is the Manager, he is very hands on and present with his customers and team. This demonstrates his professionalism and genuine interest in customer satisfaction at all levels. During a time when businesses are needing to adjust due to COVID, I am pleased to see that the quality of service has not depreciated.Well done Mossy Nissan in National City!!

Poor customer service experience, if you try to negotiate about the price, you'll see how they will treat/respond to you
