Not a fan of spirit Halloween when I can order the same thing on Amazon for half the price versus the store. This store is good for short notice and last minute options. Paying for time and higher prices.

I bought an inflatable costume only for it to miss the part that inflates the costume. I just stopped by to ask if I can get the part, they insisted that I bring the receipt. I said I didn’t have it because I expected it to fit. I don’t need a new costume, or an exchange I just needed the part. Needless to say, I left the store with no assistance and no costume!

I am so very upset, considering the costumes are pricey I wanted to buy an actual costume this year. I bought a costume and had asked before I picked it whether we can exchange if they don’t fit. I was told yes. I also asked again right before I purchased it; I was told yes again as long as it was before 14 days. I went the next day to exchange because once I took it out the bag I knew it wasn’t going to fit. I came in the very next day just for them to tell me they cannot exchange OR return after saying yes to me twice. The one time I choose to spend money on my wants, this happens? I had my receipt and everything. Hopefully it can be resolved with either exchange or refund. This is not okay that the employees are telling their costumers wrong and then I have to deal with it.

9/25/2023 around 5:30pmWorst customer service. I was in line waiting to pay (with my little brother) and this “lady” employee named Yaz, asked if we were ready to pay but then said something else I couldn’t quiet hear. Her co-workers started laughing. I thought they were laughing at something else but then they started talking in Spanish (they probably thought i didn’t know spanish, which i do). They were saying things like “i cant believe you said that” while laughing non stop. And the Yaz lady said “well they gotta understand and hear me one way or another” with an annoyed face, referring to us. Right in front of us they were talking about it. I kept myself calm because i wasn’t trying to be like them. imagine taking your little brother shopping, having a good day, just so employees can make fun of you. Thinking we weren’t able to understand Spanish. I hope they keep themselves professional.

No fitting rooms!! So disappointing especially for the high prices, am I supposed to come all the way back to make a return or exchange? We also stood waiting at the front to make a purchase for sooo long without anyone acknowledging us. Just two employees avoiding eye contact. Do not recommend

This spirit Halloween store on highland was the worst. The people in there obviously never been trained properly, as well as doesn't know how a coupon works. We gave our coupon to the cashier and he didn't know what to do and asked the manager for help and the manager said that we were not able to use it until October 1st? We went to a different spirit Halloween the exact same day and was able to use our coupon there. The coupon doesn't have a start on when we can use it, it only has an expiration date. They need to train the new workers better and that manager needs to go especially when she doesn't know how a coupon works lmao.
