Dollar General is considered the best "grocery store" in Needles, with reasonable prices on various products. However, customer service can be very poor, with long lines and clueless employees during busy times. The establishment is kind of dirty, with some products left boxed and unstocked. Private parking is available but can be congested.
Went in because it said they had a FedEx inside but they only take packages with a FedEx label already on the package. Didn't buy anything but the cashier was helpful and gave us directions to the post office.

It's 118° outside long line, only one cashier and the other two employees clueless to open another checkstand and get the line down ... very poor customer service

Always a friendly Good morning from the staff. I wish I could help them restock shelves. Great neighbor hood store.
