“We always pop into this little shop to treat our daughter anytime we’re in Nevada City. They’ve got a wonderful array of anything a kids heart could desire…and mom too. This past shopping trip, kiddo got a very cool Blue Heron stuffy, a unicorn pop-up book, a unicorn horn headband and a fabulous dress off the sale rack. Honestly, could’ve bought so much more. Forget my 6-year-old, I’m a whole problem in this boutique.”

“I was visiting a friend and stopped by this store, and I was impressed by how the store is clean, well organized, and had great selections. When I went to check out I asked the cashier if she could recommend some places to visit around there. She was incredibly kind, helpful, and took the time to give me some great suggestions without hesitation. I didn’t catch her name, but I think she was around 18–21 years old. customer service really stood out and made my visit even better.”

“I’m normally not a souvenir person and shy away from those places, but mama madrone’s eco-emporium was the perfect one stop shop for gifts for friends and family back on the East Coast. My favorites were the suuuuper soft Nevada City tshirts and the wooden bowls by Greg Mason, a local artist. The employees were sweet and chill both times I stopped in. (The first time I had to run out to catch a movie, but returned the next day, knowing that I’d find everything I needed here.)”
