The Northern Queen Inn offers a mixed experience for visitors. Located in a beautiful scenic area, the inn provides spacious accommodations with comfortable beds and functional heaters. However, some rooms have been reported to have an unpleasant urine-like odor, and the overall cleanliness and condition of the rooms are described as outdated and "disgusting" by some guests. The customer service at the inn seems to be a point of contention. While one reviewer praised the exceptional service provided by a staff member named Vanessa, who was described as friendly, helpful, and attentive, other guests have reported poor experiences, including being placed on a "do not rent" list without explanation and issues with refunds. The on-site restaurant has received mixed reviews, with one guest describing the food as "mediocre" despite the nice presentation and live music. The inn's pet-friendly policy is appreciated by some, though the pet-friendly rooms have also been noted to have a slight odor of urine. Overall, the Northern Queen Inn appears to offer a varied experience, with the beautiful natural surroundings and some positive aspects of the accommodation and service, but also some significant drawbacks that may deter some potential guests.
