“I love Hospice Gift & Thrift. It's a fun place to shop. I can always find some hidden treasure. They also have benches and chairs if you need to rest a bit. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is even a clean, well maintained bathroom.”

“I created this Yelp page because seriously 'what a gem'!! And I cant even imagine trying to keep a store open (overhead, utilities, taxes, etc) with such little street traffic. I want to keep going back! I was a little intimidated to go in first time (clearly not a Rough & Ready local), but I'm so glad I did! A customer was arguing with the owner/manager(?) about prices and it was hilarious back and forth banter. Then they talked politics and crime news... it was like a barber shop but women. I totally wanted to stay! This is the country, it's not Salvation Army where the CEO makes 600k a year. Next time I go, if I see a price I don't like I'm going to give my reason for why it should be less and make an offer. A VERY good selection of nice things, I didnt see any junk which was refreshing. And I remind myself, I dont just thrift for killer deals, I also thrift to recycle and jeep things out of land fill.”

“Goodwill in Grass Valley is one of my favorite places to discover hidden treasures! This store is packed full of great clothing..(As a note*The Womens section is substantial, Mens section is painfully Small, the Kids Section is Minimal..But,usually has some really cute items!Clothing is conviently organized by type and color. I usually find several name brand items during my shopping trip, for fair prices! The Household isles are stacked with a plethora of vintage, unique, modern Goods and Wares. New with tags..to mysterious antiques hidden amongst the ordinary dishes, dolls, tools, pictures, art supplies.. Just waiting to be discovered! The shoe Department is just Exceptional.. Most of the time. I have been very lucky ,to have found ,many pairs of gorgeous Boots and Shoes! If you are a shoeaholic like myself.. You may want to bring someone who can help you to leave the store with a reasonable amount of shoes. I love it!!To sum it up, Goodwill is a great store to find quality, affordable, unique items! Clean store, Nice Energy, and the Staff is always very welcoming and go out of their way to provide Great Customer Service. ?”
