There are times that items I order will not deliver to a P.O. Box(I have one in GV). I put my street address down and request fed ex or ups but they end up delivering usps. Well usps does not deliver to my road. We have gone into Nevada city post office when this happens and have encountered the nastiest rude employee. This happened again on 2/21. She scolded and yelled at my husband. This has happened to my daughter, son and myself. I read some of these reviews and it seems like this skinny gray hair old lady has a habit of treating people this way. I hope a supervisor reads this and takes action. Won’t hold my breath.

Don’t use the PO Boxes here, the staff at this office will steal your items from the boxes and pretend to look for them. Very dishonest staff here, anything you send to this office, especially the PO Boxes is subject to internal theft with zero recourse. I have contacted the postal police and am awaiting a response but my fingers aren’t crossed.

The people who work here are kind, at least the women are. However, the mail carriers are the absolute worst. They steal mail. I would avoid using this place. They have many times brought mail to my house so they say, but they didn't. It’s always missing and not just me but all of my neighbors. They also do not pay attention when driving. I wanted to say something positive about them but im so disappointed in the way they do things and their customer service.

There is a lady that works in the front(tall, skinny , grey blonde hair, white old lady) that was extremely rude to me and yelled at me when I was just trying to get my package, mind you I live an hour away from town and I can’t just “ come back later” also my mailman isn’t going to deliver any packages that won’t fit in my mailbox so I come to the post office all the time for my packages but this one particular lady just doesn’t want to help anyone she also yelled and got rude with the two people in front of me when they were trying to pick their packages up also so if your not going to help then why are you even working there ?!?!?!!

I had my package stolen from someone who works here. I am filing a police report now. I would never trust anyone in this post office with your mail or packages. BEWARE

I dono y'all seem pretty hard on the place. Does anyone like going to the PO? No, we do not.Should they try harder to deliver the dang mail? Yes, they really should. Let's be nice to people who are helpful and doing their best. I suspect some higher-ups, neglect or bureaucracy is to blame. The worst usps if you’re having packages delivered to your home. Say they can’t access or was delivered and wasn’t. Never had this many issues.

This post office is negligent and riddled with theft. I do not recommend shipping or receiving any packages in Nevada City, they are highly mismanaged and there are postal service carriers and employees stealing mail actively at this location.
