The buying experience was pretty good, I feel like I got a decent deal.
The service experiences though…not good. When I spoke with the service advisor and told him what I wanted on the first visit, he immediately launched into an upsell “package” that costs over $300. I told him no, I just needed my oil changed, my oil filter changed, the fluids topped off, tire pressure adjusted and the car washed. Again he tried selling me a suite of unnecessary services. He finally whittled it down to just what I asked for.
Why do I have to negotiate down for the services I want? Why are they offering me a transmission fluid flush and service for a car that had 2,400 miles on it? On top of that, one of the office employees was speaking very loudly. I mean unnecessarily loudly.
When I brought my car in for a recall service recently, the notification indicated the service would take about 90 minutes. The service advisor told me it would take 3 hours. I told him I had an appointment and scheduled the rest of my day based on the stated time frame of 90 minutes. He said “There are other vehicles being worked on at the same time, so…yeah.” I know there are other vehicles in the shop. Taking twice as long to get the work done is a scheduling issue, not a customer issue. To be fair, my car was done in 2 hours.
I doubt I’ll be back. I might buy another Mazda eventually, it won’t be from Fremont Mazda.

In December 2023, I bought a CX-50 from the Fremont dealership. Just one month later, I started hearing a strange noise coming from underneath the car. However, instead of addressing the actual issue, they dismantled the sunroof. Unsurprisingly, the noise remained, and now the sunroof makes its own noise as well.
Fast forward to August this year, I noticed dents on all four tires. I went back to the dealership to request a tire replacement, as the car came with a one-year warranty. After inspecting the tires, they agreed there was indeed an issue. But the manager’s attitude was arrogant and dismissive, telling us to contact the tire manufacturer ourselves. We bought the car from them, not the tires separately!
If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would.

Trisha and Anthony were exceptional!
I dropped off my car with the noise diagnosis on Sat. I was expecting to use my own uber to go home, but Trisha quickly got me the loaner car since the diagnosis usually happen in weekdays.
Anthony then quickly sent the inspection video on Mon morning explaining the noise is coming from the water pump which I couldn't figure out when I researched on the internet. Video was clearly showing the issue, and he mentioned they have the parts.
On Tue, I texted at 11:30AM asking if I could pick up soon due to my schedule change. Trisha quickly reply and said she just got the key and ready.
All the process was prompt and clear. Because of these guys high standard skills, I can drive worry free now :) Thank you, Trisha and Anthony!

I recently took my car for service at Fremont Mazda (I had purchased my car there). Previously when I had some engine lights I checked with them but they were not helpful. This time it was worse but I was helped by Dom Fantone, a service advisor. Dom provided excellent service and helped me get the right service for my car. he also helped me with the overall cost and arranged a loaner. I am very impressed and will certainly consider Fremont Mazda as my first choice (if Dom is helping me). I highly recommend all Mazda owners to consider this shop.

I have cancelled 3 yrs Car Service option , since I moved out of Bay area . Its 4 months and they never returned my calls and emails.
I am still following up with them with No luck.Pathetic support :(

Fremont Mazda is the best to deal with! Their service department is super helpful. I’ve never dealt with a dealership that sends videos while it is being serviced. The updates are very helpful in understanding the work being done. We made the right decision purchasing from them!

Really bad experience. Giving incorrect information and trying to milk the customer into paying for something that isnt even broken. Tried to verify multiple times but they were adamant that things must be replaced even though there is no concrete evidence that the part in question is faulty.

Took my car in for a routine oil change. My car is out of warranty but the dealership sent me a coupon that was a competitive oil change price for an oil change and tire rotation. I wasn’t expecting anything else to be included but they checked all the fluid levels, brakes, and tire pressure as well as checking my engine and cabinet filters. I passed on the inflated price for the cabin filter, which is super easy to install. Overall a good experience and within budget. Even got a car wash. Thanks Fremont Mazda! I especially liked the video that shows the maintenance tech checking the vitals on the car. Very cool!
